A girl and her mother were killed after a speeding car ran over them while they were crossing the Ring Road near Karol Ghati in Gujjarpura. According to officials, both victims were killed on the spot.

The driver fled along with the car after the accident.

Police shifted the bodies of the victims, Shahnaz and her daughter, to a morgue for legal formalities.
