An NBA fan interrupted the Clippers-Nuggets game on Wednesday night as he sprinted onto the court midgame and forced security to chase after him.
With less than four minutes remaining in the contest, the Nuggets were leading by 17 points when a man in a white t-shirt ran onto the court as Denver brought the ball up.
Play went on for a couple of seconds before a referee whistled for the game to stop, with security bursting onto the scene soon after.
The fan was briefly able to get away from security personnel before he was eventually wrapped up and escorted off of the court.
It’s unclear why he chose to storm the court, though he appeared to gesture to the words on his t-shirt after making it onto the court at the Intuit Dome.
‘Unnecessary, man,’ an analyst said on the FanDuel Sports Network SoCal broadcast of the game.

‘I guarantee you somebody bet him that he won’t do it or something like that.’
Denver’s Bruce Brown also appeared to exchange some frustrated words with the fan after he got onto the court.
Ultimately, it was a good night for the Nuggets as they won 130-116 behind 55 points from Nikola Jokic.
The Serbian added 12 rebounds and six assists as Denver improved to 9-2 on the year.
Aaron Gordon also added 18 points, though the Nuggets’ Cam Johnson left the game with an arm injury.
Denver will face the Timberwolves next on Saturday, while the Clippers will travel to the Mavs on Friday.
