Uma Thurman opened up about the new phase of parenting in her life.
Uma shares two children Maya Hawke and Levon Hawke with fellow actor Ethan Hawke and co-parents a third child Luna with French financier Arpad “Arki” Busson.
In conversation with The Times, the mother of three called her current era of parenting as the “sunset period.”
“[It’s] shopping and driving and emailing teachers and all the things we do,” Uma explained.
Previously, the Pulp Fiction star in conversation with the People Magazine reflected on how much she deeply loves her children.
“I’m madly in love with all of my children and very proud of them,” she said. “I think they conduct themselves with a lot of dignity and respect for others. It’s all a parent could dream of.”
She also gushed about her oldest daughter Maya, who stars in hit Netflix series Stranger Things.
“Oh, she knows what she’s doing. She went to Julliard, thank God. She actually finished high school [unlike me]” Uma said at that time.
Looking back on her own childhood, Uma revealed that she left her boarding school at 15 years of age and moved to New York City all by herself.
Uma’s breakthrough came at the age of 18 for her role as Cecile de Volanges in Dangerous Liaisons in 1988.
