MMA fans are stunned after a UFC star shared images of a nasty car crash that left his SUV destroyed and flipped in the streets of Brazil.
Bantamweight fighter Deiveson Figueiredo showed video of the wreckage in the city of Belem – located in the far north of the country.
The 37-year-old took to Instagram following the wreck to confirm that he is okay, but also to show what happened.
Video from the incident showed Figueiredo’s grey Range Rover Discovery flipped on its side with the windows busted out.
He also showed what appeared to be a silver Toyota sedan with serious damage on the front end.
In the caption of the video, Figueiredo wrote in his native Portuguese that ‘a lady at high speed, apparently seemed to be on the run’ emerged from a side rode and hit his car.

A follow-up post showed that the woman seemed to have run a stop sign before crashing into Figueiredo.
‘Thank GOD we’re fine, apparently the girl is fine. Now we need to tie up loose ends,’ the fighter wrote.
Combat sports fans took to the comments to offer their thoughts and gratitude that everyone walked away from the situation relatively un-harmed.
‘Glad you’re ok brother,’ wrote one MMA account in a comment under the post.
One comment in Portuguese read, ‘Thank God the damage was material, it can be fixed stay strong champion’.
Figueiredo is a two-time UFC Flyweight Champion, who has competed in the bantamweight division since 2023. Earlier this month, he defeated Montel Jackson in a split decision to win his first fight since August 2024.
