Three Premium Bonds holders have bagged £50,000 prizes in this month’s Premium Bonds prize draw with tiny holdings under £300.
The £50,000 prize is the third biggest prize tier on offer and there were 153 of them up for grabs in November’s draw.
A saver from Northern Ireland scooped one of them with a tiny holding of £100. They purchased their winning bond in March 1996.
Meanwhile a saver in Outer London won a £50,000 prize with a holding of £200 from a bond purchased in June 2020.
The other winner, based in South Yorkshire, won a £50,000 prize with a £250 holding. They purchased their winning bond five months ago in May 2025.

This month’s draw marks 69 years since Premium Bonds first went on sale in November 1956.
The first prize draw took place in June 1957 and, since then, more than £38billion has been paid out in prizes.
This month there were more than six million Premium Bonds prizes worth over £401million won by Premium Bonds holders.
The two coveted £1million prizes were won by Premium Bonds holders from Shropshire and York. Both savers held the maximum £50,000 in Premium Bonds.

One of the £1million prize winners said they will be spending their new found fortune on first class flights to Australia.
They said: ‘What an amazing surprise. I’m going to treat myself to a new ukulele. We’re off to Australia first class next year, champagne and comfort all the way.’
The odds of winning a Premium Bonds prize are are 22,000 to 1 and the prize fund rate – which represents the average prize payout – stands at 3.6 per cent.
Savers can invest between £25 and £50,000 in Premium Bonds and all prizes won are free from tax.
