Hollywood’s biggest names are currently making their way along the red carpet at Royal Festival Hall as the 2026 Bafta Film Awards get underway this afternoon.
Stars from across the globe have descended upon London’s Southbank Centre for what is billed each year as British cinema’s most glamorous evening of the year.

Soon after, Made in Chelsea’s Jamie Laing and Sophie Haboo made their entrance, closely followed by Hamnet’s Emily Watson, who could bag an award this evening.

Best Supporting Actress nominee Odessa A’zion donned all black for the awards, as she arrived after bagging her first-ever Bafta nomination.
Elsewhere, Wagner Moura posed for snaps despite being snubbed in the Lead Actor category for The Secret Agent.

Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another tops this year’s nominations with 14 nods, securing recognition in the best film, best director, best actor and best actress categories. The drama follows a former revolutionary on a quest to locate his missing teenage daughter.
Close behind with 13 nominations is Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, a vampire action-horror centred on twin brothers played by Michael B Jordan who return home only to encounter a sinister presence awaiting them.

Marty Supreme and Hamnet each received 11 nominations, while Frankenstein secured eight nods. I Swear, the biographical drama chronicling Scottish Tourette’s campaigner John Davidson, picked up five nominations.

Mr DiCaprio is nominated for best actor for his role in One Battle After Another, where he faces competition from Chalamet for Marty Supreme, Jordan for Sinners, and British rising star Robert Aramayo for I Swear.
Mr Aramayo stands as the sole British contender in the leading acting categories this year.
