- His strict regime has kept him in peak physical condition
Wimbledon champion Pat Cash has disclosed just how he keeps so physically fit in an impressive sequence of posts on Instagram.
The 60-year-old was one of the fittest players on the professional tour when he was competing, and has kept the same relentless attitude post-retirement.
A recent video shows Cash promoting a ‘non-impact’ workout routine in which he does numerous standard standing knee raises, before completing them while twisting.
He then moves on to doing some standing toe-touches to finish the video.
‘A little non-impact workout to start the new week. Give this a go and get ready to take on Monday,’ he captioned the clip.
Cash has also shown off another daily routine he swears by, revealing which supplements he takes to support his aging body.

The 60-year-old was viewed as one of the world’s most fit athletes when he was an active tennis player
Cash (pictured at Wimbledon this year) returned to the All England Club in a trip that marked 38 years since he won the famous Grand Slam singles title
‘Omega fatty acid 3-6-9… (are) really important for connective tissues and joints,’ Cash said.
‘These things… are the things that help me.
‘I’ve been at this amateur… semi-professional biohacking for 40 years really since (my amino acids were first tested back when I was 19 or 20)’, he added.
The former world No.4 has been outspoken on keeping physically active for several years.
And he’s now pleaded with fitness enthusiasts to take supplements and focus on getting a good night’s sleep.
‘You’ve gotta supplement these days… (because) the food just doesn’t have what it used to have’, he stated in another video.
‘Sleeping is the number one thing for recovery… if you can get a good night’s sleep, you can take on the world.’
The videos come just months after Cash was spotted sitting courtside at Wimbledon with new girlfriend Charlotte Hodson.

‘I don’t know if we’ll go down the marriage route but she’s the love of my life, that’s for sure,’ he told The Mirror back in June.
The pair have been together for several months.
Cash was previously romantically linked to Norwegian model Anne-Britt Kristiansen and TV host Tania Zaetta.
