Gomez and Blanco exchanged vows on September 27 at a private estate, and Swift reportedly arrived a day early, staying out of sight beneath umbrellas to avoid paparazzi attention. She attended the rehearsal dinner and remained for the full ceremony, underscoring the strength of her long-standing friendship with Gomez.
On October 6, Gomez shared a video revealing Swift’s emotional reaction upon seeing her in her wedding dress for the first time, a moment that quickly went viral and emphasized the deep bond they’ve maintained for more than 15 years. The pair first met in 2008 while both were dating members of the Jonas Brothers — Swift with Joe and Gomez with Nick.
At the same time, Swift is said to be preparing for her own upcoming wedding to Kelce, reportedly assembling a bridesmaid group that includes close friends such as Gomez and Gigi Hadid, according to Page Six.
An insider told the U.S. Sun on November 9, “Taylor wants to start the wedding process this way, building her bridesmaid group and getting everyone involved in the preparations, celebrations and planning. She wants it to be fun and memorable for everyone.”
The wedding is rumoured to be scheduled for June 13, 2026. Earlier claims suggested Swift and Kelce attempted to secure that date from another couple at a Rhode Island venue, though sources later denied the story.
