A street fight led to a mass shooting in San Francisco, leaving four minors and one adult injured.
San Francisco Police responded to a fight in the Outer Richmond neighborhood around 9pm on Saturday after multiple gunshot wound victims were reported following a fight, Captain Kevin Lee told the San Francisco Chronicle.
An adult man was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, while four juveniles suffered from non-life-threatening wounds, police said.
Police believe it was an isolated incident and there is no further threat to public safety.
A video circulating social media showed a large group gathered on the street roughhousing.
Three girls appeared to be circling another woman, throwing a series of punches and pulling on their clothing and their hair as dozens of bystanders watched.
In a separate clip of the gathering, another person was seen being kicked and hit while lying in the middle of the several-lane roadway.
One man is seen trying to break up the escalating fight, but the tension only continued as a girl shoved another boy.

The youths eventually cleared out of the roadway to let vehicles pass by when the light turned green.
It’s unclear what led to the shooting and who the gun belonged to.
Tommy Corcoran, 19, who moved to the area a week ago with his father, saw the shooting while he was on his way to the Golden Gate Bridge, where he had heard people hosted bonfires, he told The Chronicle.
He was passing through Golden Gate Park when he heard the gunshot and saw people scattering. He quickly hid behind a log and eventually went home, he told the outlet.
San Francisco Mayor, Daniel Lurie, condemned the shooting, writing on X: ‘This kind of violence does not represent who we are as a city, and we will never tolerate it. I am hoping that everyone affected will be okay.’
The investigation is ongoing.
