Sabrina Carpenter is celebrating a major music milestone.

The Espresso hitmaker’s latest album Man’s Best Friend has officially been certified platinum by the RIAA, Recording Industry Association of America.

The seventh album has already sold or streamed the equivalent of 1 million units in the United States within just three months since its release.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, November 13, the Grammy winner announced the news, celebrating with her fans.

“What in the world. Man’s Best Friend just went platinum [two black heart emoji],” she wrote in the caption. “Thank you for listening to this album. i love you guys so much.”

The short n’ sweet message was accompanied by the controversial cover of the album marked by the iconic platinum RIAA plaque that artists receive to commemorate the achievement.

Fans were quick to congratulate the Please Please Please chart topper, with one writing, “so deserved!! I didn’t realize it got that certification so fast, that’s insane for a single.”

“Honestly, I think it’s one of her best songs production-wise,” another gushed.

A third remarked, “incredibly proud,” followed by a fourth, raving, “we knew this would happen on the first listen [blue heart emoji] congrats.”

Carpenter, 26, marked her latest milestone as she approached the finale of her fifth concert tour and her first headlining arena tour.

Launched in late September, the Short n’ Sweet tour is set to wrap up after six more shows across multiple cities.
