Former Manchester United captain and current pundit Roy Keane has shared a throwback picture from his teenage years.
The photo appeared to be of an old form of Irish ID, stating it was issued in October 1987 and would expire a year later.
Keane was born in August 1971, suggesting was around 16 at the time of the snap.
The photo shows a youthful-looking Keane staring down the camera in a black and white photo, wearing a wooly jumper with a head full of hair.
The Irishman captioned the post, which was shared to his 2.4million Instagram followers: ‘I didn’t have much, just a dream, great hair and a point to prove.’
At 16, Keane was playing for Rockmount in County Cork, before going onto his illustrious senior career in England, which started out at Nottingham Forest.

After a short stint with Cobh Ramblers in his native Ireland, he would move to Forest for £47,000 in 1990.
There, he would go onto make 148 appearances, and then nearly joined Blackburn before Manchester United swooped to do business and sealed a £3.75million deal, which was a British transfer record at the time.
It was at United where he would really make his mark in football, playing 479 times between 1993 and 2005 under Sir Alex Ferguson.
In terms of accolades, Keane won seven Premier League titles, four FA Cups and the Champions League at United, before he left for Celtic and eventually retired.
Now, Keane is a much-loved pundit on the likes of Sky Sports, known for his straight-talking approach to his analysis and never holding back with his opinions.
He also works with ITV during major football tournaments and helping out with their coverage of England games.
