Nicola Roberts reveals first pregnancy as celebs pile in to congratulate Girls Aloud star
Nicola Roberts shared joyful news with fans on Christmas Day, revealing that she is expecting her first baby with her partner Mitch Hahn.
The 40-year-old Girls Aloud star took to Instagram to announce that she is already five months into her pregnancy, with the couple anticipating their child’s arrival in spring.
In her festive post, Ms Roberts wrote: “Mitch and I have had the most magical Christmas Day sharing the most precious news with our families.
“We’ve been keeping a secret. We are five months pregnant! We can’t wait to meet our little one in the spring.”

The announcement came alongside a series of photographs featuring the singer displaying her growing bump next to a decorated Christmas tree, marking a significant milestone for the couple who became engaged last year.
Ms Roberts, who hails from Runcorn, posed in a black dress for the images, turning to the side with her hands placed on her belly to showcase her developing bump.
A further photograph captured the couple together on a balcony, their arms wrapped around one another, while a third image displayed the silhouette of her pregnancy against the glow of the Christmas tree lights.
The singer described the moment as sharing “the most precious news” with loved ones, having kept the pregnancy under wraps for several months.

Ms Roberts and Mr Hahn, who is 37, have maintained a relatively private relationship since they began dating in 2022, only going Instagram official with their romance in May of this year.
Their engagement was first spotted by eagle-eyed fans when the singer appeared wearing a sparkling diamond ring during a performance at Brighton Pride.
A source told The Sun at the time: “Nicola has met her soulmate in Mitch. She couldn’t be happier.”
Fellow celebrities rushed to congratulate the couple following the announcement, with the singer’s Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh commenting “Best news ever” on the post.
Presenter Rochelle Humes echoed the sentiment, writing: “The best news ever congratulations gang.”
Former Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards, who is herself expecting her second child, added: “Oh my goodnesssss! The best news. Congratulations beautiful!”
Television presenter Laura Whitmore offered her well-wishes, commenting: “Congrats to you both! The best news.”
Comedian Alan Carr wrote: “Amazing news!! Sending you much love!”
Presenter Rylan Clark was also among those celebrating in the comments section, alongside singer Jessie Ware, who added: “Amazing babe! Congrats.”
Members of The Saturdays and Sugababes also joined the chorus of congratulations, with Vanessa White writing that she was “so happy” for Roberts, while Keisha Buchanan described it as “The BEST news”.
Fans of the Girls Aloud icon also took to the comments to share their support for the star. “Omg Nicola that’s the best news! So so happy for you beautiful. You’ll be the best mum,” one commented.
Another fan penned: “The most incredible and special news!! Couldn’t be happier for you both! Congratulations.”

Mr Hahn works as chief executive of accountancy firm Nordens, but also has a background in professional football, having played for Southend United and Essex club Grays Athletic.
He captained the Great Britain team at the European Maccabi Games in Israel, leading them to gold in 2019.
Prior to her relationship with Mr Hahn, Ms Roberts dated Charlie Fennell for six years until their split at the end of 2013.
