MasterChef’s Sarah Todd, 37, and Declan Cleary, 27, welcome twins just in time for Christmas

MasterChef stars Sarah Todd and Declan Cleary have officially become parents – welcoming not one, but two beautiful baby girls just in time for Christmas.

The loved-up couple shared the joyful news on Wednesday, posting a heart-melting hospital snap that showed Sarah cradling her newborn twins Claudia and Charlotte in her arms as Declan, 27, leaned in close, beaming proudly beside her.

In the touching photo, the 37-year-old chef looked radiant as she cuddled her tiny daughters, who were wrapped snugly in pastel-striped hospital blankets and topped with adorable knitted beanies in soft pink and lilac hues.

Sarah appeared fresh-faced and glowing as she gazed lovingly at her babies, while Declan cut a relaxed figure in a crisp white T-shirt, flashing a proud dad smile as he wrapped his arm around his growing family.

Declan captioned the announcement with a heartfelt message, writing: ‘Claudia and Charlotte. Merry Christmas from our family to yours.’

Within minutes, the comments section was flooded with congratulatory messages from fans, friends and celebrity pals.

MasterChef judge Melissa Leong also chimed in, writing: ‘Omg omg congratulations guys! Couldn’t be happier for you all. Can’t wait to meet the beautiful girls.’

The joyful arrival comes after Sarah first announced her pregnancy in October, revealing the couple were expecting to expand their family.

‘We are overjoyed to share that our little family is growing,’ they began.

‘These past months have been some of the most precious of our lives. A sacred time of holding this news close, letting it sink in, and soaking up all the emotions with those dearest to us.’

The went on: ‘It has been such a gift to sit in the wonder of it all, imagining the beautiful new chapter that lies ahead.’

The couple said they felt ‘deeply blessed’ knowing their baby would be entering a world already brimming with ‘so much love’.

Between Sarah’s 14-year-old son Phoenix, whom she shares with ex-fiancé Devinder Garcha, and Declan’s dog Sol, the happy couple gushed that there was ‘no shortage of cuddles, laughter, and warmth waiting to welcome the addition to our family.’

‘Our hearts are full to the brim, and we couldn’t be happier to finally share this joy with all of you,’ they wrote, before thanking their fans and followers for being part of the ‘special moment in their lives’.

‘Always read the label and follow directions for use,’ the post added.

Accompanying the sweet caption was a carousel of pictures, with one showing Declan holding a Clearblue pregnancy test while leaning into his pregnant girlfriend.

One sweet clip showed the happy couple dancing, with Declan twirling Sarah and planting a kiss on her forehead.

Another picture showed Sarah with an ultrasound scan as she showed off her growing belly, while one lighthearted snap showed Sarah balancing a coffee on her already-sizeable bump.

Sarah, who is already mum to son Phoenix, met Declan earlier this year when they both returned to the MasterChef kitchen for MasterChef: Back To Win.

The pair have since moved in together in Melbourne, where they have been preparing for life as a blended family alongside Phoenix and their dog Sol.

‘We feel so deeply blessed knowing this little cherub will enter a world already brimming with so much love,’ Sarah previously said.

‘Between us, Phoenix, and Sol, there is no shortage of cuddles, laughter and warmth waiting to welcome the addition to our family.’
