Later in the day, the All I Want For Christmas Is You hitmaker layered a stylish Prada geometric shawl over her shoulders as she shopped at Moncler.

The vocalist, who is reportedly set to release a 90s grunge album next year, shared the news in a video posted on Instagram.
Clad in a tight, plunging red dress and diamond necklace, she said, ‘Ciao! Get ready for Milano Cortina 2026.’
Sprinkling in bits of Italian, she continued, ‘See you at the Stadio San Siro on the 6th of February for the Olympic Opening Ceremony. Ci Vediamo a Milano!’
She echoed the closing phrase in her caption, which translates to ‘See you in Milan.’
The Milano Cortina Instagram account shared a promotional poster for the event and referenced Carey’s famed Christmas song All I Want for Christmas Is You in the caption, writing, ‘All I want for THE OPENING CEREMONY is youuuuuuuu!’
Her show at Dolby Live’s 5,200-seat theatre is divided into three acts that include holiday hits plus songs from her most recent album, Here For It All, which came out in September.
The album, Carey’s first in seven years, received decent reviews but was the lowest-selling record in her 35-year career and disappeared from the charts after about three weeks.
It’s customary for her to promote her mid-90s Christmas album, titled Merry Christmas, during the last month of the year.

The lead single is ubiquitous around the holiday season as fans push it back to the top of the music charts year after year.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of her Christmas album in 2024, the singer released a deluxe edition.
‘The deluxe digital edition of my Merry Christmas album is out now! You know I don’t know numbers but I’m really proud to celebrate 30 years of this album. I’m so grateful to all my fans who spent many of their Christmases with these songs,’ the songstress said.
She added, ‘The album is available now with a new remastering of my 1994 concert at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. Hope you enjoy listening, and hoping we spend many more holidays together! Merry Christmas, xoxo M.’
On Monday, Billboard revealed that All I Want for Christmas Is You has returned to the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Carey marked the milestone with an Instagram post, posing in a red sequin romper with white trim as she held a faux torch in her hand.
She captioned, ‘Humbly taking back the torch!! 20 weeks at #1… I’m so grateful ❤️.’
The star also used Instagram Stories to share with her 15 million followers that the song is RIAA certified 18x platinum.
The tune is the longest-running number one single in the chart’s 67-year history.
