The Dallas Cowboys are finalizing a trade to acquire the Cincinnati Bengals‘ defensive captain Logan Wilson just hours ahead of the NFL deadline.
The news comes after Cowboys owner Jerry Jones teased the possibility of some late moves in Dallas, and that has now come to fruition.
NFL insiders Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport report that the linebacker is heading straight to Dallas, but it is unclear what Cincinnati will receive in return.
Wilson recently requested a trade away from the Bengals amid a decrease in snaps, with Barrett Carter taking over as the starter.
Coincidentally, Wilson is nicknamed ‘the Cowboy’ due to his Wyoming roots, and his time playing for the University of Wyoming.
