Five killed, at least 20 wounded in deadly Quetta blast: police

QUETTA/RAWALPINDI: At least five people were killed and more than 20 people were injured in a blast near Zarghoon Road in Quetta, authorities said on Tuesday.

An emergency has been imposed in Quetta’s Civil Hostpital, BMC Hospital and trauma centre on the directions of Balochistan Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar, said the health department spokesperson.

Meanwhile, security sources said that the deadly explosion was a suicide attack by Indian-backed Fitna al Khawarij. They said that all six terrorists, including the suicide bomber, dressed as FC personnel killed in the blast, while two FC personel were injured.
