David Beckham’s mother, Sandra, travelled to Paris on Friday to show her support for Victoria at her Fashion Week presentation, despite being at the heart of Brooklyn Beckham’s explosive January statement about family tensions.
The 76-year-old was photographed alongside her son David, who shared images of the family gathering on Instagram.
David posted a selfie captioned “Family lunch” featuring his mother, Victoria’s parents, Jackie and Anthony, and son Romeo, with the group enjoying snails at a French restaurant.
Sandra’s appearance comes just weeks after Brooklyn publicly claimed his parents had been upset about seating arrangements at his 2022 wedding involving his grandmother.

While Sandra maintains a private Instagram account, her presence in Paris sent a clear message of solidarity with her daughter-in-law.
In his January Instagram statement, Brooklyn revealed the specific incident that had caused friction with his parents.
He explained that he and Nicola had chosen to seat both his Nanny Sandra and Nicola’s grandmother, referred to as Naunni, at their wedding table because neither woman had their husband present.
According to Brooklyn’s account, this decision led to his parents labelling him “evil.” The seating arrangement was among several ways Brooklyn claimed David and Victoria had “humiliated” him during his nuptials to Nicola Peltz.

Sandra holds a special place in the hearts of all the Beckham children, and despite the public airing of grievances, Brooklyn continues to follow his grandmother on social media, suggesting their personal relationship remains intact.
David’s father Ted and his second wife Hilary Meredith were also present at Victoria’s show, seemingly showing that family divisions have not affected the wider Beckham clan’s support for the former Spice Girl.
Hilary shared photographs from the evening on Instagram, writing “Fantastic evening supporting Victoria,” and posing alongside Sandra as well as Victoria’s parents.
The gathering between Ted and Sandra is notable given that the couple divorced back in 2002. Both grandparents are said to maintain close ties with Brooklyn despite his estrangement from David and Victoria.

Ted and Hilary marked Brooklyn’s 27th birthday earlier this week with an Instagram tribute, posting: “Happy birthday @brooklynpeltzbeckham – hope you have a fabulous day. With love from Grandad and Hilary xxx”.
Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were notably absent from Friday’s presentation, continuing a pattern of missing family occasions that has persisted since his January statement.
The eldest Beckham child remained silent about his mother’s show on social media, choosing instead to promote his hot sauce brand Cloud 23.
His absence was unsurprising given his previous comments about fashion week attendance. In his January statement, Brooklyn had written: “We’ve gone out of our way for years to show up and support at every fashion show.”
Over the past year, Brooklyn has missed numerous significant family moments, including David’s 50th birthday celebrations, Victoria’s 51st birthday, David’s knighthood ceremony, and, most recently, his brother Cruz’s 21st birthday party.
