Tottenham consider sanctions against own scout who supports Arsenal after disrespectful ‘skin’ joke
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly looking into further sanctions towards an academy scout who joked about not wanting the club crest to touch his skin.
The Arsenal supporter, who states he has a Uefa B License, uploaded photos of himself in a Tottenham tracksuit next to the club motto.
He captioned the post: “Looking forward to getting the new set of superstars to the club”.
He added: “You know the project’s good when you’re a boyhood Arsenal fan and you switch sides”.
One follower responded to the post: “Do not let that badge touch your skin.”
The scout subsequently replied: “I’ve already got the base layer.”
A second follower added: “We need someone on the inside,” promoting the response: “shhhhh”.
When a third commented a snake emoji, the scout replied: “I know, I know, it’s deserved haha.”

The employee then replied, “It was tough,” when asked, “How the hell did you get dressed in that?”
Spurs were left “deeply unimpressed” with the social media exchange, according to the Daily Mail.
The club are considering taking further action, the publication claims.
The matter is understood to be being dealt with in-house.

Tottenham have declined to comment.
Fans of the north London club have responded to the comments, claiming the new scout lacks respect for his employer.
However, some have jumped to defend the young man, suggesting the comments were clearly said in jest.
The reports emerge amid a tough period for Tottenham as they sit dangerously close to the relegation zone.
