Ryan Reynolds was unable to hide his delight upon learning that Wrexham had secured a home fixture against Chelsea in the FA Cup fifth round.
The 49-year-old Hollywood star watched the draw unfold alongside fellow actor Hugh Jackman, 57, with both men seated on a sofa viewing proceedings on a tablet.
Reynolds initially tensed up, gritting his teeth before checking his iPad to discover the outcome.
When Jackman gave him a nudge, the Wrexham co-owner’s eyes widened as he clasped his hands together in disbelief.
“Wait, wait we’re at home?” Reynolds exclaimed to the camera.
“To Chelsea that’s what you wanted,” Jackman responded, before the pair exchanged an enthusiastic double high five.
Both actors were heard exclaiming “what the f***?!” upon discovering the draw.
The Welsh club’s appearance in the fifth round marks their first at this stage of the competition since 1997.
