Mick Maio has sent the rumour mill into overdrive after sharing a post that appears to show him getting very cosy with American ‘it’ girl Delilah Belle Hamlin.

The Love Island Australia star uploaded a candid snap taken in Los Angeles that shows Delilah leaning over Mick as he sits back on a lounge, dressed in a black leather jacket.

Delilah, 26, is seen straddling his lap as she reaches towards his face, wearing a plush faux-fur jacket over low-slung pants, her blonde hair pulled back into a sleek bun as the pair laugh and flirt in the dimly lit setting.

Mick captioned the post, ‘wasn’t really on my phone’, but it was the comments underneath that truly set tongues wagging.

Delilah herself jumped into the comments with a telling remark, writing, ‘I let that man walk me to the bank couldn’t relate’, a line many fans interpreted as an inside joke between the pair.

Tay Reid flooded the comments with pink heart emojis, while Gabby McCarthy wrote, ‘Iconic’, as followers rushed to ask whether the pair were officially dating.

The flirty exchange comes after Mick, 27, has been spotted repeatedly spending time with Delilah around LA, with the pair popping up together across social media in recent days.

Eagle-eyed fans also noticed Delilah’s voice and silhouette appearing in other videos shared to Mick’s account, further fuelling speculation.

Delilah is the daughter of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna and actor Harry Hamlin, and has previously dated Love Island UK alum Eyal Booker before being linked to Euphoria actor Henry Eikenberry last year.

Mick declined to comment when approached by Daily Mail. 

He rose to fame on the latest season of LIA, filmed in Spain, where he became known as the villa’s jokester thanks to his sharp one-liners and cheeky personality.

Outside the show, he is a well-known figure in Melbourne’s nightlife scene, running elite events under his Champagne Lyla banner while also working as a model and content creator.

The apparent new romance comes after Mick recently opened up about his messy and very public breakup from influencer Jasmine Tavares. 

Speaking to TV Week at the time, Mick admitted the relationship left him heartbroken and prompted him to reassess his priorities.

‘I loved my ex-girlfriend a lot,’ he said. ‘So when she left me, I was upset. I just took a bit of time to work on myself.’

He also revealed his party-promoter lifestyle made relationships difficult, despite rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest names in the world, including Shane Warne and rapper 50 Cent, through his Champagne Lyla events.

‘I had my fun when I was younger and I’m getting older now,’ Mick said. ‘I just want to settle down with a lovely lady and live life happily ever after.’
