The festive season is a time for spending with loved ones and reflecting on the year that’s gone.
But for some stars, they’ll be glad to see the back of 2025 after it was plagued by high-profile feuds.
One of the most long-running celebrity feuds of the year was between Britain’s golden family, the Beckhams. Brooklyn Beckham, 26, David and Victoria’s eldest son, has had no contact with his family since a devastating rift tore the clan apart earlier this year.
Elsewhere another shock family feud broke near the end of the year surrounding the wedding of Gordon Ramsay‘s daughter Holly and Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty.
Other notable wars of words this year included Kendrick Lamar and Drake‘s seemingly never-ending feud, Sabrina Carpenter’s beef with the White House and THAT Selling Sunset drugs bust-up.
But what were the most explosive celebrity feuds of 2025?

Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz versus The Beckhams
The Beckham family feud has been making headlines all year after David and Victoria’s eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz (Seen together in 2023) appeared to be retreating from their lives
The Beckham family feud has been making headlines all year after David and Victoria’s eldest son Brooklyn appeared to be retreating from their lives.
Brooklyn has been notably absent from every key family event over the course of the year – among them his father’s milestone 50th birthday celebration and long awaited recent investiture.
David had three birthday parties – a family event in the Cotswolds, a dinner at the restaurant Core in London attended by Tom Cruise and a Scottish fishing trip with sons Cruz and Romeo.
Brooklyn did not go to any of these events and David wrote on Instagram: ‘You were missed @brooklynpeltzbeckham’ after the fishing trip.
All involved concede that the Beckhams absolutely love their son and pinpoint the source of the dispute on Brooklyn and his wife Nicola’s May 2022 wedding at the Peltzes’ waterfront estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
Tensions arose over Nicola’s choice of wedding dress. Everyone assumes it was Nicola who snubbed the idea of a gown made by her mother-in-law in favour of couture Valentino.
Yet sources insist that was not the case, and that it was Victoria who dumped the idea without warning.

In May and June this year it was reported that the Beckhams felt that they had ‘lost’ their son to his wife Nicola Peltz. It was said that they referred to him as ‘the hostage’ and felt she was ‘controlling’ him.
Naturally that was hurtful to their smitten son Brooklyn, who came to believe the deluge of negativity was authorised, directly or indirectly, by David and Victoria themselves.
As the private difficulty made global headlines, Brooklyn and Nicola hired a crisis publicist in an attempt to temper the blame game. The objective, they said, was to ‘de-escalate’ the war of words.
But just as the row seemed to be dying down in August came the surprise ‘repeat’ of Nicola and Brooklyn’s wedding, at the Peltz family estate – with none of the Beckham family present. It was perceived by David and Victoria as a particularly ‘cruel and spiteful’ blow, and a ‘final kick in the teeth’.
Now, months on, they remain estranged.
Holly Ramsay and Adam versus The Peatys
The upcoming nuptials between Olympian Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay have been dramatically overshadowed by a toxic family row
The upcoming nuptials between Olympian Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay have been dramatically overshadowed by a toxic family row, which has seen the swimmer disinvite all of his relatives, bar his sister Bethany, from the wedding.
Adam and Holly are set for a Christmas wedding spectacular, where they will exchange vows at Bath’s historic Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, before embarking on festive drinks.
However, Adam left jaws dropped in November when it was revealed he had uninvited his relatives from his wedding, after his mother Caroline was not invited to Holly’s swanky hen do.
Sources claimed that cracks in family relations first began to show at Holly and Adam’s engagement party, which has reportedly been filmed to feature in her father Gordon’s Netflix docuseries.
The astonishing family feud kicked off after news arose that Adam’s mother was not invited to Holly’s hen do, where she was joined by her mum Tana, Adam’s sister Bethany and Victoria Beckham at Soho Farmhouse.
In the wake of the snub, a number of stories of strife unravelled, with shock claims on each side about the fallout – including allegations that Holly and Adam made Caroline chose a different outfit for the wedding as they did not like her choice.

It was later reported that tensions between the two families began during Holly and Adam’s engagement party, which was filmed for Gordon’s upcoming Netflix documentary.
The hen do snub sparked a huge response from the Peaty family, with Adam’s aunt Louise blasting her nephew and his fiancée Holly in a series of Instagram comments.
She later claimed her sister Caroline wasn’t invited to their wedding due to her appearance and not having the correct ‘look’.
But one member of Adam’s side of the family appears to have survived the feud, his sister Bethany – who did make the cut for Holly’s picture perfect Cotswolds hen do.
Sabrina Carpenter versus Donald Trump
Sabrina Carpenter recently slammed the White House for its ‘disgusting’ use of her song Juno in a clip celebrating arrests made by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The video had been captioned with: ‘Have you tried this one? Bye-bye,’ followed by a heart-eyed emoji.
However, Sabrina offered a pointed message on X by writing, ‘This video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda.’
The White House then responded to the performer when spokesperson Abigail Jackson issued a statement using the singer’s own lyrics against her.
‘Here’s a Short n’ Sweet message for Sabrina Carpenter: we won’t apologize for deporting dangerous criminal illegal murderers, rapists, and pedophiles from our country,’ Jackson wrote, referencing to the star’s 2024 album Short n’ Sweet.
The spokesperson then referenced lyrics from the singer’s song Manchild and added, ‘Anyone who would defend these sick monsters must be stupid, or is it slow?’
Sabrina was trolled once again by the White House in another post on X days later when they shared a snippet of the singer appearing in an SNL promo with cast member Marcelle Hernandez.
The pair took part in a short skit where the performer referenced to how she would ‘arrest’ attendees for being ‘too hot.’ ‘I think I need to arrest someone for being too hot,’ Sabrina told Marcelle in the original skit, and he replied with, ‘Oh well, I turn myself in.’
Sabrina was later trolled once again by the White House in another post on X
Sabrina offered a pointed message on X by writing, ‘This video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda’
However, the White House uploaded an edited version where the word ‘hot’ was replaced with ‘illegal’ – and the caption read: ‘PSA: If you’re a criminal illegal, you WILL be arrested & deported [sparkle emoji].’
Not long after Sabrina’s face-off with the President, artist SZA condemned the White House for using one of her tracks on an ICE advert.
The caption, ‘WE HEARD IT’S CUFFING SZN. Bad news for criminal illegal aliens. Great news for America,’ immediately sparked backlash.
SZA, who claimed the move was deliberately engineered to bait artists into reacting, swiftly denounced both the message and the appropriation of her work.
‘White House rage baiting artists for free promo is PEAK DARK ..inhumanity + shock and aw tactics … Evil n Boring,’ she wrote, calling the administration’s strategy ‘rage baiting artists’ for engagement.
Other stars who have hit out at Donald Trump for using their music include Olivia Rodrigo Céline Dion and Bruce Springsteen.
Kendrick Lamar versus Drake

Drake and Kendrick Lamar feuded with a rapid-fire barrage of diss tracks last year, culminating with Kendrick’s Grammy-winning Super Bowl centrepiece Not Like Us, in which he provocatively called the In My Feelings rapper a ‘paedophile.’
He also took aim at several of Drake’s regular collaborators and business associates in the song as well.
Although the Canadian actor-turned-rapper had traded diss tracks with Kendrick, and followed up Not Like Us the following day with The Heart Part 6 — a parody of a series of song titles his nemesis had previously released — he appeared to step back from the feud after Not Like Us became a chart-topping hit.
The song’s reception suggested that many music industry figures had turned against Drake when much of the audience at the 2025 Grammy Awards joined in to sing Not Like Us when it played as Kendrick’s walk-up music as he was awarded the prestigious honours Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
The song ultimately won five Grammys, giving it a tie for the most-awarded song of all time at the ceremony.
Just days later, Kendrick got to share his side of the feud when he hosted the Super Bowl LIX halftime show, which culminated in a performance of Not Like Us that included Drake’s ex-girlfriend Serena Williams crip walking.
Kendrick also took aim at several of Drake’s regular collaborators and business associates in the song as well (Drake seen in 2015)
Notably, the rapper censored himself when he got to his infamous line, ‘Certified Lover Boy? Certified paedophiles.’
However, it’s unclear if that was done to avoid potential legal complications, or if it was a request by the broadcaster or the NFL.
Drake had already filed a lawsuit against Universal Music Group, the parent company of both of their labels, suing them for defamation due to what he said were the ‘false and malicious’ lies of Not Like Us’ ‘paedophile’ line.
But in October Drake suffered a major loss in his legal battle over the diss track after a judge dismissed his federal lawsuit.
Jackiey Budden versus Jeff Brazier
Another feud to hit headlines this year was among the family of Jade Goody – who tragically died in 2009 following a battle with cervical cancer and was survived by her sons Freddy and Bobby Brazier (Jade’s ex Jeff Brazier and his son Freddy)
Another feud to hit headlines this year was among the family of Jade Goody – who tragically died in 2009 following a battle with cervical cancer and was survived by her sons Freddy and Bobby Brazier.
Jade’s family has endured a turbulent year, with a string of bitter disputes and controversies playing out in public 16 years after her tragic death.
Earlier in 2025 it was revealed her ex-husband Jeff Brazier had submitted a court claim to attempt to keep her mother Jackiey Budden out of his son Freddy’s life.
Jeff has long insisted she is a bad influence on the troubled youngster – with the pair enduring a series of very public disputes over the years.
Freddy has previously faced allegations that his cannabis use had become out of control – prompting an intervention from his father, who attempted to legally block him from seeing his maternal grandmother Jackiey after it emerged they would smoke the drug together at her flat.
Earlier in 2025 it was revealed her ex-husband Jeff Brazier had submitted a court claim to attempt to keep her mother Jackiey Budden (Pictured) out of his son Freddy’s life
Jeff hired a leading barrister for the upcoming hearing which is the latest in part of the long-running feud between himself and Jackiey.
The move sparked a row between Freddy and his father, who appeared in popular TV series Race Across The World together last year.
But they later patched up their difference after the youngster turned to Jeff for support ahead of becoming a dad himself.
And in August it was reported that Jeff had dropped the legal case.
Selling Sunset’s Chrishell versus Nicole
Tensions between Selling Sunset stars Chrishell Stause and Nicole Young have been relentless on the show, and the chaos came to a head in the latest season
Tensions between Selling Sunset stars Chrishell Stause and Nicole Young have been relentless on the show, and the chaos came to a head in the latest season.
The most recent clash came during a fiery dinner party during season 9 when Nicole, 39, made an insensitive comment about 44-year-old Chrishell’s deceased parents.
After Chrishell leveraged prior accusations about her co-star’s alleged drug overdose, she hit back: ‘Honey, you’re confusing me with your parents, OK? You seem to be obsessed with drugs.’
It was not taken lightly, with the dinner party aggressively calling for Nicole to leave immediately.
She was subsequently reprimanded by Oppenheim Group bosses Brett and Jason Oppenheim and fired from her job as a real estate agent.
But the fight was just the latest major clash between the pair, with Chrishell saying in September 2024 she would not return to the show if Nicole came back.
Shortly after starting, Nicole accused Chrishell of taking credit for a listing she had previously worked on.
Nicole was subsequently reprimanded by Oppenheim Group bosses Brett and Jason Oppenheim and fired from her job as a real estate agent
They have since gone back and forth with a number of confrontations, with the situation escalating to Chrishell accusing Nicole of being on drugs.
In season 8, Chrishell branded Nicole a ‘snake’ and said she told a ‘disgusting lie’ about her best friend Emma Hernan. The lie, viewers eventually discovered, turned out to be that Emma had an affair with a married man.
The almighty fallout transpired when the agents were given screeners for the episodes, with Chrishell claiming her friend Emma, 33, had been ‘blindsided’ by the ‘disgusting’ and ‘categorically false’ lie.
Previously, Nicole was also forced to apologise for interacting with a homophobic Instagram comment made about Chrishell – who is married to non-binary musician G-Flip.
Nicki Minaj versus Everyone

One star who has landed themselves in a range of feuds this year is rapper Nicki Minaj.
Back in September, Cardi B reignited her long-standing feud with Nicki – which goes back many years, and in 2018, the rivalry reached its peak when they got into a physical fight at an event.
While they later called a truce, the female rappers were back at it again earlier this year after Nicki infuriated Cardi, who was pregnant at the time with her fourth child, by sharing a series of diss tweets about her, before deleting them.
Nicki even went as far as to target the Bodak Yellow hitmaker’s children as she named her eldest daughter Kulture in one vile tweet. She also took aim at Cardi’s unborn baby.
In one post, Nicki wrote: ‘Fallin off the charts wit a big bellyyyy / RUNNING TRAINS. Barefoot, still smellyyyyy / Still. You. Could. Not. outsell. meeeeee.’
Cardi hit back, noting that she doesn’t feel like she and Nicki are peers because of their age difference.
Months earlier Nicki continued another longtime feud by accusing R&B singer ZA, 35, of lying about her age.

In a since-deleted post, the Super Bass rapper said that SZA is in her ‘mid forties’ before demanding to see her birth certificate – but despite swiftly deleting the post, it didn’t stop fans from screenshotting it and sharing it all over social media. There’s currently no evidence to support Nicki’s claims that SZA is being dishonest about her age.
And in June, Nicki appeared to vent a series of grievances she has with Jay-Z’s company Roc Nation in a series of cryptic social media posts.
She did not directly name Jay-Z or any of his associates in the series of X posts she sent – but implied that she’s been sabotaged professionally by the musical monolith.
‘Barbz, that’s the REAL reason I won’t release music,’ the Super Bass artist addressed her fans on the platform, alluding to the troubled business relationship.
Over the years, Nicki has also beefed with Mariah Carey, Remy Ma, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Kim, Iggy Azalea, and Miley Cyrus.
Charli XCX versus Taylor Swift
The former tour mates appear to be at the centre of showbiz’s most prominent and growing feud, thanks to pointed lyrics featuring in Taylor’s new album, The Life Of A Showgirl
The former tour mates appear to be at the centre of showbiz’s most prominent and growing feud, thanks to pointed lyrics featuring in Taylor’s new album, The Life Of A Showgirl.
‘I heard you call me “Boring Barbie” when the coke’s got you brave,’ Taylor sings on her track Actually Romantic, in a lyric that many listeners interpreted as a pointed jab at Charli, who has openly referenced drug use in her own music.
However, neither party has yet confirmed who the song is really about.
Charli later made comments about how people view her and referenced her ‘party girl’ image.
The singer told the publication: ‘It’s fascinating to see how people ingest your personality and spit it back out – what people cling on to, what people miss. I’m always interested in, like, what does the casual viewer think?
‘And they probably think I’m a girl who parties and does drugs and is a little bit b***hy.’
Charli later made comments about how people view her and referenced her ‘party girl’ image
Meanwhile Charli’s last album, 2024’s hugely successful project titled Brat, included the song Sympathy is a knife, whose lyrics fans have interpreted to reference Taylor.
In the song, Charli sang: ‘Don’t know if I’m spiralling/ One voice tells me that they laugh/ George says I’m just paranoid/
‘Don’t wanna see her backstage at my boyfriend’s show/ Fingers crossed behind my back/ I hope they break up real quick.’
The lyrics are thought to be about Taylor as Charli’s boyfriend she is referencing is her now-husband George Daniel, The 1975 drummer, and Taylor was briefly linked to frontman Matty Healy in 2023 before she began dating Travis Kelce.
Aimee Lou Wood versus Walton Goggins
White Lotus stars Aimee and Walton’s on-screen chemistry and social media activity sparked questions about their relationship off-camera earlier this year
White Lotus stars Aimee and Walton’s on-screen chemistry and social media activity sparked questions about their relationship off-camera earlier this year.
They were then reported to be locked in an intense feud and the rumours hit an all-time high after they unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Fans based the theory on the fact that previous comments and likes that she had left on his post — when they were still following each other — had apparently disappeared at some point.
People were also left questioning about Walton and Aimee’s status when he notably walked out of an interview with The Times when the actress was brought up on more than one occasion.
He had told the publication, ‘I’m not gonna have that conversation. There is no conversation to be had about that.’
Aimee also appeared to do her best to avoid Walton at this year’s Met Gala red carpet — even as she hung out with another of her cast mates.
But months after feverish speculation that the White Lotus costars had a strained relationship, Walton got emotional as he insisted they were on good terms.
But months after feverish speculation that the White Lotus costars had a strained relationship, Walton got emotional as he insisted they were on good terms
‘There is no feud. I adore, I love this woman madly, and she is so important to me,’ he insisted during a joint interview for Variety.
Meanwhile Aimee declaring ‘I think it’s such a comment on where we’re at culturally,’ she said over the online fury. Why is everyone obsessing over Instagram? That is irrelevant. We don’t give a s**t about Instagram.’
As rumours swirled about them, Aimee revealed she initially wanted to correct people, but feared her words would get twisted.
Whilst he put to bed rumours of a falling out, Walton did have one regret about his time with Aimee, telling her during the interview that he wished he had attended the cast’s watch party for the finale to experience the ‘cathartic and so painful’ episode with his co-star.
