Emergency services are searching for two men off a beach in Devon.

The two men are believed to be missing in the water in Budleigh Salterton.

Devon and Cornwall Police were called at 10.25am on Christmas Day following concerns for people in the water.

A number of people were rescued and taken to hospital as a precaution.

A significant number of emergency service personnel are at the scene, police say.
