Jordon Hudson stayed away from Times Square on Friday morning as her lover Bill Belichick was questioned about her on a live interview on Good Morning America.

It went better than the CBS horror show that saw scrutiny on the 49-year age gap between the couple dramatically intensify – and how could it not – but Belichick, 73, still had an awkward moment when Michael Strahan asked him what 24-year-old Hudson means to him.

‘Well, we have good personal relationship. And, you know, I’m not talking about personal relationships, Michael, you know that,’ Belichick said to former NFL player Strahan, who revealed Hudson was not on the GMA set.

Strahan joked that Belichick must be happy because he is doing yoga, referencing some of the beach pictures Hudson shared of the two together. Belichick gave a small smile and said that he is, to which Strahan said he was glad.

Belichick was interrupted by Hudson from off-camera when he sat down with CBS to plug his new book. The NFL great tripped on his words when asked how he met Hudson, before she coldly called out that they are not discussing their relationship. 

Belichick’s GMA appearance was his highest profile interview since that humiliation, although he had spoken to local media in North Carolina about his role as the team’s football coach since.

Strahan joked Belichick must be happy because of the beach pictures Hudson shared of them 

Before Strahan stepped up his questioning on Friday, Belichick praised Hudson for taking care of the ‘business’ side of his life and allowing him to focus on coaching.

‘She’s been terrific, you know,’ Belichick said. ‘Through the whole process, and she’s been very helpful to me. 

‘She does the business things that don’t relate to North Carolina that come up in my life, so I can concentrate on football. And that’s really what I want to do.’

Belichick calls Hudson his ‘muse’ in his new book about his life coaching in the NFL, where he is an eight-time Super Bowl winner.

‘You know, I acknowledged her in the book. She was very helpful on that with the with the tribute pages, and also given a perspective of the book from kind of a business side,’ Belichick added.

‘You know, sometimes I get a little football technical and, and so, you know, she did a good job of keeping me on balance there.’

But that was as far as Belichick was willing to talk about his girlfriend, shutting Strahan down on his follow-up question.

This past weekend, Belichick was in Maine to support Hudson at her beauty pageant, where she eventually finished third.

He was exclusively pictured by Daily Mail sat next to Hudson’s father Heath – the first time he had been seen publicly mingling with Hudson’s family.

Hudson gave a short speech to the crowd at the event, seemingly addressing the backlash she has received after the CBS embarrasment. 

‘I’m feeling an immense amount of pride right now,’ she said.

‘I’m hoping that anybody who’s watching this finds the strength to push through whatever it is that they’re going through and embodies that hate never wins.’
