A Youm-e-Quds rally will be taken out on Friday after prayers from Numaish Chowrangi to Amma Tower. In view of the rally, the traffic police have announced alternate routes for commuters.
As per the plan, motorists travelling from Teen Hatti towards Tower can take the route from Guru Mandir to Soldier Bazar via Bahadur Yar Jang Road and Holy Family Hospital, or turn left from Binnori signal towards PP Chowrangi through Corridor-3 to reach their destination.
Those coming from Nazimabad and heading to Tower can travel via Lasbela, then turn right onto Nishtar Road, passing through Ranchore Lane and Civil Hospital to reach their destination.
Traffic heading towards Numaish from Fresco Chowk and Eidgah Chowk will be diverted from Tibet Centre towards Regal Chowk and Empress Market or left from Jubilee towards Aga Khan III Road, Anklesaria Road and Coast Guards area to Soldier Bazar.
Vehicles coming from Dawood Pota Road and Lucky Star, heading towards Numaish will be diverted at Preedy Chowk, where traffic will be sent right towards Saddar Dawakhana and PP Chowrangi, or left towards Regal Chowk.
Motorists have been requested to cooperate with law-enforcement agencies.
