Cruz Beckham has expressed hopes of fixing his fractured relationship with older brother Brooklyn, speaking out while arriving in Paris with girlfriend Jackie Apostel.
The 21-year-old musician, who touched down in the French capital on Thursday for his mother Victoria’s fashion show, was approached about his estranged sibling who had just celebrated his 27th birthday.
When questioned whether he had any well-wishes for Brooklyn, Cruz offered a simple “Happy birthday” in response.
Pressed further on whether reconciliation between the Beckham family members was possible, the youngest Beckham son stated: “I hope to.”
Brooklyn and Nicola have distanced themselves from the Beckhams in recent years | GETTYCruz declined to confirm whether he had actually spoken directly to Brooklyn, but his comments suggest he remains open to rebuilding their bond despite the ongoing family rift.
The Paris encounter came just one day after Cruz had posted a touching birthday tribute to Brooklyn on Instagram, sharing an image of the pair as young boys alongside the caption “I love you.”
However, Brooklyn chose not to acknowledge his younger brother’s gesture publicly, mirroring his silence when Cruz marked his own milestone 21st birthday last week.
The aspiring chef, who now resides in the United States with actress wife Nicola Peltz, 31, seemingly failed to reach out to Cruz for that significant occasion.

Brooklyn’s only public response on his birthday was to his wife, who had shared a photograph of the couple surrounded by celebratory balloons.
“I love you baby girl,” he wrote in reply to Nicola’s gushing tribute declaring him “the most special human.”
The entire Beckham family had reached out to Brooklyn on his birthday, yet he publicly ignored every tribute from his parents and siblings.
David was first to post, sharing childhood photographs with the message “27 today. Happy Birthday Bust. We love you x,” using Brooklyn’s childhood nickname. Victoria followed minutes later with similar sentiments.

Brooklyn’s silence towards his family comes after his explosive January statement, in which he accused his parents of controlling media narratives and maintaining “inauthentic relationships.”
“For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family,” he wrote, adding that “performative social media posts” had been “a fixture of the life I was born into.”
He declared in that post he had no intention of reconciling with his family.
The family feud became public last December when reports emerged that David and Victoria had unfollowed Brooklyn on social media.
Cruz soon stated: “My mum and dad would never unfollow their son. Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked…as did I.”
Brooklyn had reportedly unfollowed both Romeo and Cruz back in July.
At that time, Cruz shared pointed messages on social media, including one reading “It takes 43 muscles in your face to frown and 17 to smile,” followed by “Be kind and tell the truth.”
Despite the tensions, Cruz seems to have attempted to bridge the divide in the past. Before Christmas, he posted photographs including one of all three brothers together on a beach volleyball court in Rio de Janeiro.
In late November, he shared an emotional message declaring “Life is too short to be silent, at least talk it out.”
