Champions League draw confirmed in full as Manchester City to face Real Madrid and Chelsea matched with PSG

The Champions League draw has been confirmed, with fans excited to watch the upcoming fixtures.

The dates of the full calendar will be confirmed at a later date, with the quarter finals times announced on March 19, following the completion of the Round of 16 return legs.

The semi-final schedule will be confirmed on April 16, after the quarter-final return legs.

Six Premier League sides discovered their Champions League last-16 opponents and routes to the final.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Newcastle United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur were among the eight seeded teams after finishing in the top positions during the league phase.

Each will face an unseeded opponent who progressed through the knockout play-offs earlier this month.

The Gunners will take on Bayer Leverkusen, while Chelsea face a reunion with Paris Saint-Germain.

Manchester City have been handed a blockbuster tie against record 15-time winners Real Madrid.

Newcastle United will welcome Barcelona to St James’ Park for the first leg before travelling to Catalonia, and Liverpool’s path continues against Turkish giants Galatasaray.

Tottenham Hotspur complete the English contingent with a meeting against Atlético de Madrid.

The remaining two ties see Sporting CP paired with Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt and Bayern Munich drawn against Atalanta.

As seeded clubs, all six English teams will host their second-leg encounters.

The Round of 16 fixtures will be played across two weeks in March, with matches scheduled for March 10-11 and March 17-18.

The quarter-final stage follows in April, taking place on April 7-8 and April 14-15, before the semi-finals on April 28-29 and May 5-6.

Budapest’s Puskás Aréna will stage the showpiece final on May 30.

Uefa has confirmed a significant change to the final’s scheduling, with kick-off brought forward to 5pm GMT, an hour earlier than tradition, in a move designed to make the occasion more accessible for families and supporters attending in person.
