Stunned witnesses watching the plane taking off nearby were heard screaming as the plane showed signs of distress.
The flight was taking off from Paramillo Airport in Táchira when it crashed at the Paramillo Airfield in San Cristóbal National Park.
The blazing accident left two passengers dead and another two injured.
The deceased victims were unofficially identified as Toni Bortone and Juan Maldonado, according to local outlet El Nacional.
