Paloma Faith has been flooded with outraged comments after posting a TikTok video ridiculing gender reveal parties ahead of the arrival of her third child.
The 44-year-old singer is heavily pregnant with her first baby with partner Stevie Thomas.
In the contentious video, Ms Faith appears in high spirits, smiling as she holds pink and blue balloons.
She begins the clip by sarcastically announcing: “This is my gender reveal post. Is it gonna be a boy or is it gonna be a girl? I want all of you to know!”
She then releases the balloons, allowing them to deflate as she declares: “Oh come on, does it really matter?
“It’s 2026 – do we even give a s**t about gender anymore? You bl**dy transphobic homophobic p***ks.”
Her tirade didn’t end there. “It’ll be whatever it wants to be when it’s old enough to decide its own identity for god’s sake,” she signed off.
The video sparked immediate fury across social media, with numerous fans expressing their disappointment in the Celebrity Traitors star.

“And just like that I stopped supporting her,” wrote one TikTok user, whilst another questioned: “This has to be a joke, right?”
The complaints continued over on X as the clip went viral beyond the realm of TikTok.
“Paloma Faith is PATHETIC,” one X user fumed. “Saying she’s not doing a Gender Reveal for her baby, and that the child will decide its own gender when it’s old enough.”
A second echoed: “Paloma Faith calls gender reveals transphobic BS and says the kid will ‘decide’ its gender later. REALITY CHECK: SEX IS BINARY, not a choice menu! She’s fueling the confusion, not fixing it.”
Elsewhere, a third weighed in: “This delusional clown, Paloma Faith. Stop this insanity and indoctrination before we completely lose our grip on basic f***ing science.”
And another concurred: “This WOMAN is ridiculous. Attention seeker, desperately trying, and failing to stay relevant in 2026!” (sic)
However, the singer also attracted defenders who praised her stance on parenting. One supporter on TikTok wrote: “Paloma!!! Could I love you any more! We all need a parent like you.”
Another labelled her an “inclusive queen,” whilst a third questioned why anyone would be “so obsessed over babies’ genitals,” adding: “It’s a baby. End of. As long as it’s healthy, then who cares?”
Ms Faith captioned her video with a promotional message, writing: “If you aren’t offended by this post then you are cool and should buy tickets to Trans Mission on March 11.”
The event she referenced is described as an “all-star solidarity concert for the trans community” scheduled to take place at OVO Arena Wembley.
Her comments come amid ongoing public discourse surrounding transgender rights in the UK, with Ms Faith positioning herself firmly as an ally to the community.
Ms Faith has a history of keeping her children’s gender private, having concealed her first child’s sex for three years following the birth in December 2016.

Speaking to the Radio Times, she explained: “I was traumatised by the birth and protective of our privacy. I wanted her to develop into herself before the world decided who she was.”
In 2018, the Lullaby singer revealed she referred to her firstborn as “they” in public, stating she did not believe celebrity culture was healthy for children.
Her previous stance on gender privacy attracted significant online abuse, with Ms Faith recalling: “I had people calling me a child abuser online for saying that. Which was weird.”
