Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first in the second one-day international against Sri Lanka at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Friday.

The match, initially set for Thursday, was rescheduled — along with the series finale — after Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) agreed to continue the tour following security concerns triggered by Tuesday’s suicide attack in Islamabad, which left 12 dead and 27 injured outside a courthouse.

The final game will now take place at the same venue on November 16.

Playing XI:

Pakistan: Fakhar Zaman, Saim Ayub, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Salman Agha, Hussain Talat, Mohammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, Shaheen Afridi (c), Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah.

Sri Lanka: Pathum Nissanka, Kamil Mishara, Kusal Mendis (wk), Sadeera Samarawickrama, Charith Asalanka (c), Janith Liyanage, Kamindu Mendis, Wanindu Hasaranga, Dushmantha Chameera, Maheesh Theekshana, and Asitha Fernando.
