NRL Cowboys star Jake Clifford has welcomed his third child with his wife of four years, Steph.
The happy couple posted to social media on Boxing Day to announce that their bundle of joy arrived on Christmas Eve.
The delighted couple included a video of their new baby girl and revealed her unusual name.
‘An extra special gift this Christmas – Zimi Wren Clifford 24.12.25,’ Steph wrote on Instagram.
The video, which was also a gender reveal, featured two announcement plaques, one reading, ‘It’s a Boy’ and one reading, ‘It’s a Girl’.
In the clip, Zimi can be seen wrapped in a blanket as the camera pans to the, ‘It’s a Girl’ plaque.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2021, also share a one-year-old son, Dustyn, and a four-year-old daughter, Naivy.
Messages of congratulations filled the couple’s post, including one from Jake’s club, the North Queensland Cowboys, which said: ‘The best early Christmas present! Congrats, guys!’
The Cowboys co-captain Reuben Cotter and his wife, Mackenzie, also messaged their support alongside Claudia Taulagi, wife of North Queensland winger Murray Taulagi.
‘The most beautiful little girl ever. Welcome to the world Zimi!’ Claudia posted.
Sydney Roosters player Reece Robson also sent his best wishes, writing: ‘Congratulations guys, so happy for you all.’
Jake, 27, and his wife frequently share images of their home life and children on social media.
Back in July, they announced that Steph was expecting in a video posted to Instagram.
‘Surprise… the final missing piece to our family,’ she gushed.

Jake, who is an ambassador for Lamberts, a North Queensland grocery brand, returned to the Cowboys in 2024 after playing in the UK’s Super League.
Debuting in the NRL with the Cowboys in 2018, Jake has also played for the Newcastle Knights and in the UK, for Hull Football Club.
Interviewed in October, the part-time mortgage broker said he was keen to stay on with the North Queensland club.
‘I’m excited to be here another year, as it was the last couple of years coming back,’ he told the Cairns Post, soon after signing with the Cowboys for 2026.
‘If you’re doing your job, you’re in the team, so excited to be here for another year, and hopefully can look to extend in the near future.’
