The Baltimore Ravens have been fined $100,000 by the NFL for violating injury rules in relation to quarterback Lamar Jackson.

The Ravens superstar was listed as a full participant in final practice ahead of last week’s game against the Chicago, only for Jackson’s designation to be changed to ‘limited’ the next day.

Head coach John Harbaugh insisted it was an ‘honest’ and unintentional mistake. But the Ravens have nevertheless been punished by the league.

Jackson returned to action for Baltimore on Thursday night, leading the Ravens to a 28-6 win over the Miami Dolphins.

But he had previously missed three games – across 32 days – with a hamstring injury.
