Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough was so angered by House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson that he said the f-word on live TV at 6:18am.
Louisiana-born Scarborough, 62, raged These people are lying through their f*ck-, their teeth,’ on Friday’s show while sat next to co-host and wife Mika Brzezinski.
The MS NOW host’s ire was triggered by Johnson and others Republicans’ response to a video posted on X Tuesday that featured six Democratic lawmakers urging members of the military and intelligence community to ‘refuse illegal orders’ from the Trump administration.
Donald Trump responded to the Democrats’ message Thursday in a series of Truth Social posts that slammed the messaging as ‘SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!’
The remarks were criticized, and Scarborough turned the air blue while responding to Speaker Johnson’s attempts to put a positive spin during a White House press conference Thusday.
‘He was going to just flop over, I tell you, you know, he was so shocked and stunned,’ Scarborough said, after switching from his neutral TV voice to his original southern drawl.
‘These people are lying through their f*ck-, their teeth,’ he added, before stopping himself.

‘These people are lying through their teeth.’
No apology for the outburst was forthcoming.
Scarborough previously swore while slamming Republicans on-air in August, over what he framed as their ‘failure’ to accept stricter gun laws.

Sens. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) and Mark Kelly (D-AZ), and Reps. Jason Crow (D-CO), Chris Deluzio (D-PA), Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA), and Maggie Goodlander (D-NH) actually urged servicemembers to ‘refuse illegal orders.’
‘It’s willful ignorance. And, I mean, it’s obviously extraordinarily serious moment. The United States is calling for the execution of lawmakers,’ co-host Jonathan Lemire added.
Of Trump, Scarborough said, ‘He’s just trying to distract.’
The former Florida congressman brought up the Epstein files, which the president has faced questions about since assuming office due to his past connections to late financier.
Trump signed a bill into law this week demanding the documents’ release within 30 days.
The lawmakers in the video did not specify which ‘illegal orders’ they were urging troops to disobey.
It comes as Trump faces criticism for deadly strikes on ‘narco terrorist’ boats that the administration claims are bringing drugs to the US, and as the administration has ordered National Guard deployments within the country as well.
