A former teammate of Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen‘s is hell-bent on the pair reuniting after they both skipped the Bulls’ Ring of Honor ceremony last year.
Chicago honored their 1995-96 championship squad during halftime of a January 2024 game against the Warriors, but Jordan, Pippen and Dennis Rodman were all absent.
And as Jordan and Pippen’s bond has faded in recent years, their former teammate Randy Brown wants to facilitate a meet-up attended by the pair.
‘I’m not going to let it go. I’m hoping it will happen sooner rather than later,’ he said in an interview with esportsbets, via ClutchPoints.
‘Even though everyone’s read in the media about Michael and Scottie’s differences, all that stuff, I hope it can all come to fruition, that we can hug each other one last time. And then from there, we can see where it goes,’ he added.
Despite forming a dynasty together and winning six championships on the Bulls, Jordan and Pippen’s relationship was seemingly damaged by the hit docuseries ‘The Last Dance.’

But their former teammate, Randy Brown, wants them to make amends with one another
The documentary series, which was released in 2020, granted Jordan creative control over the project and the footage used.
And Pippen was not happy with how the series portrayed him.
‘I was nothing ore than a prop,’ he said, as published in an excerpt of his book ‘Unguarded’ published in GQ. ‘His ‘best teammate of all time,’ he called me. He couldn’t have been more condescending if he tried.
Pippen also said that the show ‘glorified Michael Jordan while not giving nearly enough praise to me and my proud teammates,’ and claimed that Jordan was granted ‘editorial control of the final product.’
Another one of their former Bulls teammates, Horace Grant, also claimed in 2020 that the documentary was ‘about 90 percent BS.’

‘I would say [the documentary was] entertaining, but we know, who was there as teammates, that about 90 percent of it [was] BS in terms of the realness of it,’ he said on ESPN 1000’s Kap and Co podcast.
‘It wasn’t real – because a lot of things [Jordan] said to some of his teammates, that his teammates went back at him. But all of that was kind of edited out of the documentary, if you want to call it a documentary.’
Furthermore, Jordan and Pippen’s relationship was likely not helped by the former’s son, Marcus, dating Pippen’s ex-wife, Larsa, on and off from 2022-24.
Jordan has recently returned to the screens of NBA fans after signing on as a ‘special contributor’ for NBC.
Pippen, meanwhile, has a son (Scotty Jr.) playing for the Grizzlies.
