Meghan Markle wore nearly $200,000 worth of clothing and diamond jewelry in a new Thanksgiving promotional video posted on Instagram Wednesday for her lifestyle brand, As Ever.

In the video, the Duchess of Sussex, 44, can be seen setting an elaborate, candle-lit dinner table ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, as she glazed honey onto a turkey and tied ribbons on napkins.

The table was decorated with various green plants and festive cranberry sprigs, as she created a cozy and comfortable ambiance.

‘Our table is set with a seat just for you,’ the caption of the post read.

But instead of the decor, it was Meghan’s expensive outfit that made headlines.

She donned a Marion burgundy slip dress from Heidi Merrick, a brand local to Santa Barbara, which is a stone’s throw away from Meghan and Prince Harry‘s $14 million Montecito mansion.

The gown, which she bought in a rich burgundy color, featured an elegant v-neck and black straps that tied into a bow.

The dress retails for $495, but is now on sale for $297 on the designer’s website.

To complete the look, Meghan wore some of her usual accessories, like the bezel-cut Lorraine Schwartz pinky ring that is estimated to be worth somewhere around $62,000 to $70,000.

Around her neck, the mom-of-two also sported her diamond-encrusted Cartier Juste un Clou necklace, worth $18,700, and her $7,950 gold Cartier Love bracelet.

Of course, she also had on her diamond engagement ring from husband Prince Harry that’s estimated to be worth $150,000.

That means in total, Meghan was wearing a pricey outfit and accessories that amounted to a total that was well over $200,000 – $247,145.00 to be exact.

On X, formerly Twitter, some users took issue with her outfit and holiday photo shoot, as one user typed, ‘Nothing screams authenticity quite as remarkably as a woman, basting a chicken, in a satin frock, without an apron…’

‘Typical. More about how she looks than what’s on the table,’ another typed.

‘How do you even consider cooking in a satin dress. One splash of that oily looking sauce would ruin it,’ one commented.

Her lavish outfit comes as she’s doled out parenting pointers more than ever on the past year or so, sharing tidbits about her two children on her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan and various podcast appearances.

The couple share two children together – son Archie Harrison, six, and daughter Lilibet Diana, four.

She also shared more about parenting in her cover for the December 2025/January 2026 edition Harper’s Bazaar issue, which debuted on Wednesday.

Meghan spoke about balancing work with motherhood, as she told the interviewer more about her life at home.

‘My office is right by the kitchen, and I love that I can work from home,’ Meghan told Harper’s Bazaar. ‘It’s a great luxury.’

She shared that her daughter ‘comes and sits on my lap when I’m in the middle of the meeting, whether it’s about P and L for my brand or it’s about something creative.’

Meghan also added that she wanted her children to see her a ‘brave’ when she’s working on her brand.

‘I hope they see the value of being brave,’ she said.

‘They saw it when the jam was just a pot on the stove, bubbling. When you’re young, I think you are a little bit more fearless. As we get older, we lose some of that.’

Elsewhere in the interview, Meghan also spoke about her relationship with Prince Harry, who she married in 2018.

She said of Harry: ‘He loves me so boldly, fully, and he also has a different perspective because he sees media that I wouldn’t.’

‘No one in the world loves me more than him, so I know he’s always going to make sure that he has my back,’ she continued.

The Duchess of Sussex also shared that her husband brought out a ‘childlike wonder’ and ‘playfulness’ in her.

‘That’s translated into every part of our life. Even in business, I want us to play and have fun and explore and be creative,’ she shared.
