Mary Earps will return to Manchester United to face former England teammates in the Women’s Champions League on Wednesday.
The Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper, 32, will be between the sticks for the away side as the Red Devils play at Old Trafford in the competition for the first time.
The former Lionesses keeper’s return comes as the fallout from the release of her autobiography All In continues.
Earps has found herself in the firing line following criticism of England boss Sarina Wiegman and her successor as England’s number one keeper, Hannah Hampton, in the book.
Both ‘ goalkeepers made history having been part of the national team’s European Championship-winning sides.
Earps won the competition in 2022, before being replaced by Hampton for England’s sucessful 2025 campaign.
In her autobiography, Earps explained that she had a major disagreement with the manager following what she considered “disruptive behaviour”.
Earps alleged that Hampton was “unreliable” and “frequently risked derailing training sessions” during the 2022 tournament in England.

The PSG star will come face-to-face with many of her former Lionesses teammates, including Ella Toone, Millie Turner and Katie Zelem.
She also explained in the book her decision to leave United last summer, citing a lack of urgency from manager Marc Skinner and the club to secure a new contract.
Ahead of her return, Skinner — who managed her at United for three years — described the goalkeeper as a “good person” and revealed he does not believe the controversy will overshadow the occasion.

GETTYHe said: “Me and Mary have always had a good relationship. So I’ll say nothing but good things.
“I’ve not read the book. I don’t know anything about it – I’m hearing snippets, of course I am. I’m always one of those (who thinks) you have to be careful what you say but Mary believes in it. So that’s her truth, she has to speak it.
“From our perspective, we’ll welcome her as somebody that is on the opponents’ team in this game. But also always pay tribute to what she has done when she was at Manchester United.
“I know Mary’s a good person, so I look forward to the challenge of trying to beat her and her team on this Wednesday night. There are moments where she might speak about the urgency, but also the club will have their own view and opinion on that.”
