Two of President Trump’s top allies are again exchanging vicious, personal salvos at one another, signifying more cracks among the MAGA movement’s top ranks.
Conservative stalwart Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and far-right influencer Laura Loomer have been ridiculing each other for years but the frequency and attacks have recently reached new levels of vitriol.
Loomer ruthlessly branded Taylor Greene an ‘adulteress’ and ‘dumb CrossFit bimbo,’ while Greene retorted by questioning Loomer’s mental health in their most recent round of firings.
Loomer, 32, has twice lost races for Congress in Florida and has extensive media experience; she now regularly hosts a show online and is an active X user – her preferred platform to fire shots at GOP officials she deems insufficiently loyal to Trump.
This year, Loomer has publicly petitioned President Trump to fire executive branch employees who may have said anti-Trump things in the past or have shown any support for Democrats.
At times, the president and his team have listened, firing scores of administration officials with whom the influencer had issues.
Greene, 51, a congresswoman from Georgia since 2021, has for years boasted about her close ties with the president, whom she repeatedly campaigned for, and also has a massive social media following that, at times, has been used to target Loomer.
Greene has accused Loomer of racism, being ‘bankrolled’ by Israel and making Trump look bad by association.
Laura Loomer and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene were once friends in 2018 before they both ran for Congress. Now, their relationship is strained and signifies fractures among coalitions on Trump’s far-right

Loomer, on the other hand, has repeatedly accused MTG as an ‘adulteress,’ insulted the congresswoman’s intelligence and has questioned the Republican’s Christian faith.
‘President Trump doesn’t talk to MTG anymore,’ Loomer posted late Tuesday evening. ‘White House staff have grown sick of her and her efforts to undermine the administration. That’s the truth. As an adulteress, [Greene] is used to walking out on the men who she used throughout her life.’
‘Her ex husband can confirm. That’s why she’s having a hard time being politically dumped by Trump,’ her vicious attack continued. ‘He dropped her worthless a** when he finally realized how dumb that CrossFit bimbo truly is.’
Loomer also hoped that MTG is ‘as miserable as she looks.’
The influencer’s barbs came after an interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson and Greene in which the Republican accused Loomer of being mentally ill.
‘I’ve never understood why anyone takes her serious,’ MTG told Carlson of Loomer. ‘I mean, this is a woman that can’t even legally buy a gun because she has such serious mental problems.’
Loomer herself wrote in a 2021 blog post that she was banned from owning a gun, though her explanation for why she was forbidden from owning a firearm was opaque and did not touch on mental health being a factor.
When others have alleged Loomer of mental health issues, she has pushed back at those characterizations, though recently some of her posts have alarmed some of her fans.
‘These last few months, it has grown increasingly more difficult to feel positive about the state of affairs in the world,’ the influencer wrote at the end of September. ‘Now it just brings me chaos. I have grown to really dislike socializing with people & find attending events to be a burden.’
Her followers urged her to take time off and get around better friends friends, to which Loomer responded: ‘I stick to myself.’
Loomer, 32, ran for Congress twice in Florida but lost both runs. Later, she put her political expertise to use on social media, where she has millions of followers and hosts an online show
MTG has been in Trump’s orbit for years and has campaigned with the Republican and flaunted her close ties to him. Recently more reticent about congressional Republican’s agenda, Trump has reportedly inquired about why Greene has been more independent recently
Greene also noted how the 32-year-old’s hyper-online presence and questioned the veracity of her many eyebrow-raising claims.
‘She literally posted the other day that she blew blood vessels in her eye as she was hysterically tweeting like 40 or 50 times in one day. Who listens to a person like that? No one should.’
The full-blown war between the two far-right titans exposes the warring factions within the larger Republican party vying for Trump’s ear and influence.
Loomer is reportedly still influential in Trump’s orbit and sources familiar with the matter say she hops on late-night calls with the president, telling him which employees are not showing fidelity to the Republican.
Greene is also seemingly still in the good graces of Trump, who frequently talks about the congresswoman with her boyfriend, Brian Glenn, a White House reporter friendly with the president.
Despite her more frequent criticisms of the Republican party, and jabs at certain Trump policies – though not at the president himself, Greene clarifies – the executive has reportedly tried to bridge gaps between the two.
Trump has called at least two top-ranking Republicans to ask, ‘What’s going on with Marjorie?’ per two GOP sources who commented on the conversations, NBC reported earlier this month.
Greene and Loomer’s showdown is not the only one roiling the right, however.
MTG and Fox News host Mark Levin have also sparred, as have Levin and Carlson.
More recently, smaller GOP factions have also begun turning on each other.
A Young Republicans club group chat full of racially and sexually innapropriate material leaked to the press, resulting in some in the chat getting fired or losing job offers.
The scandal has embroiled the White House and proven to be another thorn in the right side of the administration as it deals with a government shutdown on its left.
Neither Loomer nor Greene immediately responded to the Daily Mail’s request for comment.
