Leonardo DiCaprio made the rare move of stepping out without his go-to disguise while leaving Nobu with his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti and longtime pal Tobey Maguire.
The actor, 50, who is famously known for going to great lengths to dodge cameras, often hiding behind hats, masks and sunglasses, appeared unusually relaxed at first as he exited the celeb-favorite hotspot on Saturday night.
For the occasion, the Oscar winner kept it casual, sporting a beige Essentials hoodie and a Dodgers cap in celebration of Los Angeles clinching their third World Series title in six years.
But his confidence didn’t last long.
An eyewitness told DailyMail.com that the star eventually ‘tried to hide and asked for help from the Nobu security guard’ in an effort to shield himself from waiting onlookers.
As he waited for his car, DiCaprio briefly took a phone call before returning to chat with Ceretti, 27, and Maguire, 50.

He pulled a similar stunt when attending the newly-married couple’s dinner party when he was photographed leaving the upscale Laperouse restaurant in Paris.
Dressed in a casual all-black outfit, Leo’s famous face was barely visible behind a N95 and a black baseball cap, which he pulled down to cover his eyes.
Being that the actor prides himself on being an environmentalist and climate activist, fans were shocked to learn that he was among the Bezos wedding attendees.
Photos of him wearing his low baseball cap and tuxedo as he hopped aboard a water taxi quickly went viral as fans roasted his bizarre wedding look.
‘Leo trying to hide because he’s embarrassed to been seen there or what?’ one person penned. ‘What a sellout. You’re a climate activist you say, Leo?

Calling out the star’s ‘hypocrisy,’ one fan tweeted out: ‘Leo has great advice which he doesn’t follow himself. I’m sure there’s a word for that…’
However, some social media users came to DiCaprio’s defense as they tried to explain his unique style choices.
‘He dresses like that pretty much all the time unless he’s doing a big event or publicity, I think he doesn’t want to be recognized/approached by the general public which honestly I would do the same if I happened to be famous,’ one fan speculated, before adding: ‘Gross of him to go to this regardless tho.’
Over the years, the performer’s off-duty signature accessory has been a low-slung hat and face mask.

He’s tried many times to attend Coachella incognito, but his disguises, usually involving glasses and a hoodie, have not managed to conceal his identity.
Last year, DiCaprio opened up to the Observer about whether he is ‘bothered by press interest in his personal life.’
‘As far as my personal life is concerned, my answer is pretty simple,’ Leo began. ‘I got into this industry at a very young age. I felt incredibly compelled to do this. And the irony is that I was born and raised in Hollywood. People think: “Oh, OK, just add water,’ right?” But I tried to become an actor multiple times, and I got rejected.’
He continued: ‘And at 12 or 13 years old, one of those agents said: ‘OK, we’ll give you a shot.’ Since then, it’s felt like winning the lottery. And to be honest, I would have been happy doing any sort of acting jobs — commercials, television.’
‘So since then, a lot of other stuff comes hand in hand with that,’ Leo continued. ‘The complete loss of your private life. And you know what, a lot of people have to deal with a lot harsher things than having their private life be public knowledge. That’s just one of the byproducts.’
