The next year the leggy wonder had a romance with Patrick Swayze in the hit film Road House.
The svelte siren has also appeared in Drugstore Cowboy, Desperate Hours, Curly Sue, Heaven’s Prisoners, Mr. Magoo, Charlie’s Angels and Joe Somebody.
Lynch has also had recurring roles on the cable shows The L Word and Magic City.
Before becoming an actress, Lynch modeled for Elite Modeling Agency and studied under acting teacher Sanford Meisner.
She has been married to 72-year-old movie screenwriter Mitch Glazer since 1992. He has written the films Scrooged and The Recruit.

On Wednesday the diva looked incredible at a party thrown at Boucheron in Los Angeles.
Wearing a sparkly silver sequined gown with high strappy silver heels and her strawberry red hair down, the siren looked as stunning as ever.
Maison Boucheron celebrated its arrival on the West Coast with an intimate two-day experience at Harvey House, the 1950s John Lautner–designed residence in the Hollywood Hills.
The event, A Cutting-Edge Journey Since 1858, invited guests to explore the Maison’s 167-year heritage through immersive installations dedicated to its creative pillars: iconic creations, innovation, nature, and style.
Also there were Julianne Moore, Charlotte Le Bon, Tracee Ellis Ross, Laura Dern, Cooper Koch, Natasha Lyonne and Judith Light.
CEO Hélène Poulit-Duquesne and Creative Director Claire Choisne were seen; there was a special performance by Nile Rodgers & Chic.
Also Lynch’s side was her dapper husband Glazer as they embraced for the camera.

When she was 20-years-old she suffered a terrible accident.
In 1980 the star was in a head-on collision car accident involving another motorist driving the wrong direction on a Minnesota freeway.
Lynch sustained significant injuries in the accident: Her upper body went through her car’s windshield, and the steering wheel and dashboard crushed both of her legs, breaking each.
Lynch spent about a year hospitalized and nearly had to have both of her legs amputated.
