Jennifer Lawrence radiated discomfort after a run-in with Kylie and Kendall Jenner on Tuesday at a VIP dinner held at the Dior flagship store in Beverly Hills.
The 35-year-old actress flashed a soft smile as she posed for photos with Kylie, 28, and Kendall, 30, both of whom matched her in all black.
The encounter had a particularly awkward aura, as Jennifer was hanging out with the Jenner sisters not long after she criticized their older half-sister Kourtney Kardashian for being ‘annoying.’
Even worse, the 35-year-old Oscar winner couldn’t pass the comments off as a simple misunderstanding, as she made them while hooked up to a lie detector for Vanity Fair with her Die My Love costar Robert Pattinson.
Despite her awkward expression, Jennifer looked effortlessly elegant in a black long-sleeve blouse with a bow tied around her throat.
She complemented the top with a black textured skirt featuring layers of fabric resembling leaves or scales.

Kylie stood next to her and showed a bit more leg with a striking sleeveless sack dress that was slightly ruched over her chest.
She wore her shirt raven tresses tied back to highlight her impeccably made-up face, and she elevated her stature with a set of pointy black heels.
Kendall, who flashed a winning smile, showcased her model’s figure in an off-the-shoulder bodycon dress that had a shimmering satin scarf tied around her next and fanned out over her chest.
The dinner featured celebrity guests celebrating the opening of Dior’s new Beverly Hills flagship store, which was designed by the architect Peter Marino and is located on the iconic Rodeo Drive.
The store sprawls out over four floors and includes Monsieur Dior, the brand’s first restaurant, on the third floor.
The top floor of the massive store includes private VIP lounges, as well as a tucked-away terrace with stunning views of Beverly Hills.
The store’s exterior features an undulating white stone façade and floor-to-ceiling windows unveiling the luxury location’s wares.
At the VIP dinner, Kylie and Kendall were also seen catching up with billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ wife Lauren Sànchez, who wore a gray slip-like dress with lighter lace at the top and bottom.
All three favored all-black looks. Jennifer wore a black blouse with a textured skirt, while Kylie favored a sleeveless sack dress and Kendall wore a slinky off-the-shoulder bodycon dress with a satin scarf tied around her throat

Jennifer has previously said she is a fan of a number of reality shows, including the Real Housewives franchise.
At one point during their lie-detector test, Pattinson asked, ‘You talk about your love of reality television. Do you still keep up with The Kardashians?’
Lawrence initially paused before answering and admitted, ‘Not this season. I have been on TikTok but no.’
Pattinson then held up a picture of Khloe Kardashian and said, ‘Is this woman your favorite Kardashian?’ Before he could finish his sentence, the actress quickly blurted out, ‘Yes!’
She then added, ‘Kourtney is more annoying than ever. She drives me nuts.’
‘Why? Who…,’ Pattinson replied, prompting Lawrence to explain her feelings.
‘Because everything has to be an announcement. It’s like, you know, “I’m not going to wear outfits anymore.” Like, just wear whatever you want. Don’t make an announcement about it.
‘Or, like, “I don’t have a TV in my room.” Like, just don’t watch TV. Stop announcing it. Just shhh!’ the star continued.

The black comedy drama — which is based on the novel Die, My Love by Ariana Harwicz — officially hit theaters on November 7.
In the film – which was directed by Lynne Ramsay – Lawrence portrays the role of a young mother named Grace who falls into postpartum psychosis.

Aside from Die My Love, Lawrence has been keeping busy and is set to star in Martin Scorsese’s adaptation of What Happens At Night; seen in October in Rome
‘We did not have [an intimacy coordinator], or maybe we did but we didn’t really,’ she stated on a recent episode of the Las Culturistas podcast.
‘I felt really safe with Rob. He is not pervy and very in love with [his partner] Suki Waterhouse.’
The star explained that the pair developed a trust with each other and added they both spent time ‘talking about our kids and relationships.’
‘There was never any weird like, “Does he think I like him?” If there was a little bit of that I would probably have an intimacy coordinator.’
The mom-of-two added, ‘A lot of male actors get offended if you don’t want to f*** them, and then the punishment starts. He was not like that.’
Lawrence also appears nude in the movie and explained being pregnant with her second child at the time had helped her in terms of confidence.
‘I don’t care about nudity. I’m not sensitive about it. I wanted Lynne to have total freedom artistically,’ she said, referencing to the director.
Lawrence got candid about her different approach to nude scenes in her 2023 romantic comedy No Hard Feelings.
‘I think being pregnant took a lot of vanity anxiety away. Before No Hard Feelings, I was dieting and not eating carbs and working out.’
The actress continued, ‘I was pregnant [for Die My Love]. Like, what was I gonna do? Not eat? I was working 15 hours a day. I was just tired.’
Aside from Die My Love, Lawrence has been keeping busy and is set to star in Martin Scorsese’s adaptation of What Happens At Night.
