Bunnie Xo revealed that finding out about her husband Jelly Roll’s infidelity left her contemplating suicide.

The podcaster, 46, recalled suspecting that the musician, 41, was having an affair in her newly released memoir, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic.

Bunnie — who admitted she was escorting while dating Jelly Roll — shared that she worried the singer was cheating while they were struggling in their marriage in 2018, just two years after they tied the knot.

After Jelly Roll moved out of their Nashville home following an explosive fight, Bunnie detailed becoming ‘depressed.’ 

She recalled how when she showed up to one of his local concerts unannounced, he became ‘irate.’ Though he denied being unfaithful, Bunnie later found out that ‘he had his ex-fling waiting for him in a hotel down the street.’

Jelly Roll’s best friend’s wife confirmed to Bunnie that the singer had been having an affair.

‘She’d confirmed all the suspicions and fears I’d felt for the past ten months,’ Bunnie — whose real name is Alyssa DeFord – explained. 

‘That night I contemplated taking my life,’ she wrote. ‘The pain was so intense that I genuinely just wanted to end it all.’

Bunnie recalled grabbing a bottle of pills and ‘wondering what it would feel like to die from an overdose.’ 

She remembered thinking, ‘Would J even care if I was dead?’ 

But Bunnie ultimately chose to fight on, writing, ‘I took a deep breath. Tomorrow is a new day. Time to get the f**k out of here.’

That’s when the social media personality decided to move back to Las Vegas. 

Following a three-month separation, the musician eventually contacted Bunnie and vowed to come clean about his actions.

Despite his promise, Jelly Roll — whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord — lied to Bunnie and withheld the truth about his infidelity with an ‘ex-fling.’

Last October, Jelly Roll revealed that cheating on his wife had been ‘one of the worst moments’ in his life

Bunnie chose to trust her husband — who recently flaunted his 300 pound weight loss — and the couple returned to Nashville, only for the relationship to implode when she caught him texting and calling the former flame.

‘From that day on, I didn’t want information from him anymore,’ she wrote. ‘He had his chance and he squandered it. So I talked to her.’

The ex then sent Bunnie ‘videos, screenshots, timelines and […] everything about their ten-month affair,’ revealing that he even bought his mistress a house.

‘And out of everything, that’s what made me sick. It wasn’t about him f*****g this broad — it was about emotionally cheating.’

Despite the heartbreak, Bunnie chose to forgive her husband.

‘I’m not going to pretend that we just went back to normal. We absolutely did not,’ she explained, adding that they had ‘many fights and arguments’ at the time.

During one heated fight Bunnie admitted to feeling ‘homicidal’ when Jelly Roll told her he didn’t regret the affair.

‘It would take years for me to put the affair aside. It would take years to actually feel like this man loved me — that I wasn’t disposable.’

Last October, Jelly Roll revealed that cheating on his wife had been ‘one of the worst moments’ in his life. 

‘I don’t talk about this publicly at all,’ Jelly Roll began. ‘But one of the worst moments of my adulthood was when I had an affair on my wife.’

The singer continued, ‘Because it was the first time that I was like, “I really can’t get this right at all. I know I’m in love with this woman.” It just really, really, really blew me back.’

He explained that he ‘did a lot of work to repair’ his relationship with his wife and added that the ‘repair has been special.’ 

Jelly Roll tied the knot with Bunnie in 2016. The lovebirds renewed their vows in 2023. 

Jelly Roll has daughter Bailee, 17, and son Noah, nine, from previous relationships.
