He speaks out against Bollywood for making fake films and spreading misleading information

Indian actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently attended the NDTV Creators Manch, where he sparked a discussion about truth in Bollywood, after criticizing the Hindu industry of making “fake films”.

The 51-year-old actor, who often shares his experiences and opinions online, attended Season 2 of the session, where he spoke about honesty in filmmaking and production and the influence that cinema has on society.

The Bollywood actor states that India is making fake films with false narratives and that everyone knows the truth but chooses not to speak against it.

Siddiqui further states that filmmakers should avoid spreading misleading and false narratives and instead make movies about honesty.

“There is no need to take society in the wrong direction. Truth is very important and today people will understand the truth. People know what kind of films are being made and what reality lies behind them, even if no one openly talks about it”, he stated.

Siddiqui further recommended that audiences should stay informed about global developments, in order to understand writing from the wrong.

As a prominent actor in the industry, featured in memorable films such as Talaash, New York, and Aaja Nachle, Siddiqui is brave to speak on the issues within Bollywood. His response also received applause from the Pakistani audience, with actors such as Ayesha Omar posting in support.

“We all know the truth now”, Omar stated.
