Footy legend Phil Gould has been taken to hospital and is battling some ‘significant health concerns’, according to reports. 

Nine’s Danny Weidler announced during Tuesday’s Dally M awards that Gould had been in hospital since Monday and had ‘a big couple of days ahead’. 

He also revealed that he had spoken to the Canterbury Bulldogs general manager to wish him a speedy recovery.  

‘Nine league expert and Bulldogs boss Phil Gould has been in hospital since Monday and has some significant health concerns,’ Weidler wrote on X. 

He added Gould is ‘facing a big couple of days.’
