Erling Haaland gave fans a glimpse into his brutal post-match routine after he netted a brace against Bournemouth to continue his incredible form.
The Norwegian scored twice in the first half of Sunday’s clash at the Etihad, before Nico O’Reilly added a third as Man City won 3-1 to rise to second in the Premier League.
Haaland’s brace took him to an extraordinary 17 goals in 13 games in all competitions for Pep Guardiola‘s side this season, which is added to by his nine strikes in just three matches for Norway.
He was named as Player of the Match on Sunday, and a few hours after full-time the 25-year-old showed no signs of dropping his standards.
In a video uploaded to his X account at 9:14PM, Haaland shared a 31-second clip of him in shorts with his award from the match in his left hand.
Standing in front of what appeared to be his own ice bath in his garden, Haaland began: ‘For motivational purposes only,’ as he held up his Player of the Match award.

Haaland got in his own ice bath while using his Player of the Match award as motivation
‘It’s eight degrees outside,’ he added as he put the award on the steps to the bath and pointed at it and said: ‘Motivation stands there.’
Haaland then pumped his fists and quickly moved into the freezing bath and sat there.
He could be heard gasping and heavily breathing in the cold temperatures before he ended the video with another fist pump.
The caption of the clip was titled: ‘For motivation purposes only #POTM.’
Meanwhile, Haaland was substituted for Omar Marmoush with eight minutes to go in the clash when on a hat-trick.
And, when asked about this post-game, he aimed a cheeky dig at his own manager.
‘Of course so you need to ask Pep for this,’ Haaland said with a big smile on his face.
‘I think there were probably a few fantasy managers that were not so happy when I got subbed off,’ he added with a laugh.

Haaland bravely faced up to the ice bath in the bitterly cold temperatures late in the evening
It came after he had aimed a cheeky dig at his own boss Pep Guardiola after the match
Haaland continued: ‘(It was an) important win. It is good to bounce back after losing a bad away game. It was nice.
‘I tried to contribute for the team by doing my job. It is good to win. Now two more important games to come, so keep focusing.
‘I didn’t score last game. I try to help the team to win. That is my goal and even by scoring or helping in winning duels it doesn’t matter. I want to help the team become better, that is my job.’
City’s victory took them to within six points of table-toppers Arsenal after the Gunners made it five league wins in a row on Saturday when they beat Burnley 2-0.
Guardiola’s side are back in action on Wednesday when they entertain Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. City then host Liverpool next Sunday ahead of the November international break.
