Jeffrey Epstein emails with a former White House Counsel for Barack Obama reveal that the disgraced pedophile financier had, at one point, cut ties with Bill Clinton.
Epstein’s communications with Kathryn Ruemmler, a former White House counsel and an executor of his estate, were released among many Epstein letters by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee.
In a lengthy email thread discussing someone code named ‘McGyver’ who comes up elsewhere in their correspondence, Epstein joked that his ‘memory is a friend killer’ before discussing how Clinton had offended him.
‘I stopped talking to Clinton when he swore, with whole-hearted conviction to me that he had done something, he had forgotten that he also swore the exact opposite to me only weeks before,’ Esptein claimed.
At one point in 2018, however, theoretical physicist Lawrence Krauss asks Epstein to set up a ‘Men of the World Conference’ featuring Clinton, Kevin Spacey, Woody Allen and Senator Al Franken.
Much has been made of Epstein’s connections to the Democrat president, among many of the wealthy and elite, most recently with Clinton’s birthday letter to the pedophile revealed.
A Clinton spokesperson told The New York Post: ‘Who knows what they’re talking about. What we do know and have always said is that President Clinton knew nothing about Epstein’s heinous crimes and hadn’t spoken to him in twenty years. Now here it is in black and white.’
Clinton has long maintained he did not know of the allegations against Epstein. He was awaiting trial on child sex trafficking charges when he committed suicide in his cell.

Several emails uncovered show Ruemmler and Epstein discussing their shared hatred of Donald Trump and at one point, Epstein invites her to his infamous New York City townhouse.
One of the emails between the two comes from September 19, 2014. Epstein wrote Ruemmler: ‘You need to talk to boss.’
Ruemmler, who had left the White House three months earlier according to her LinkedIn page, wrote back: ‘Agreed, but I need to be prepared to say yes before I talk to him.’
‘Understood,’ Epstein wrote back. ‘It comes down to high risk/reward, low risk/reward, professional, emotional and financial.’
‘Most girls do not have to worry about this cr*p,’ wrote Ruemmler.
Epstein joked: ‘Girls? Carefull, I will renew an old habit.’
He then listed a group of people he was set to apparently meet ‘this week,’ including Peter Thiel, Larry Summers, Bill Burns, former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Leon Black and someone named ‘Woody.’
‘You are a welcome guest at any. Also if you think there are interesting people in town, everyone here for climate summit, Clinton, security council.’

Ruemmler said that ‘the boss will be in town too’ and joked that Epstein ‘may get sick of me.’
In another from August 26, 2015. Ruemmler writes: ‘Trump is living proof of the adage that it is better to be lucky than smart.’
Epstein replied: ‘I’ll give you details when I see you. When are you in NY?’
Ruemmler said that she was going to New York on Friday morning before insulting those she would see on the drive up the New Jersey Turnpike.
‘I will then stop to pee and get gas at a rest stop on the New Jersey Turnpike, will observe all of the people there who are at least 100 pounds overweight, will have a mild panic attack as a result of the observation and will then decide that I am not eating another bite of food for the rest of my life out of fear that I will end up like one of these people.’
‘What time? I will come up,’ Epstein responds.
‘Anytime you like, you can drive right to me and I will feed you,’ she said to the disgraced pedophile, including a smiley-face emoticon.
In a February 17, 2017 email, Ruemmler writes: ‘Trump is so gross.’

Epstein wrote back: ‘worse in real life and up close.’
‘Hard to imagine,’ wrote Ruemmler, who said that she reminded him of someone called ‘McGyver’ and was ‘suffering PTSD’ from seeing him.
Ruemmler could be speaking in code, using the name of the TV detective MacGyver.
Epstein asked: ‘If hes mcguyver [sic], are you Marla Maples?’
‘No,’ she wrote back. ‘I ranked much lower.
The wider set of documents released by the committee included a 2018 email exchange between Epstein and Ruemmler.
Ruemmler had sent Epstein a link to a New York Times op-ed about Michael Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer, who had recently pleaded guilty to violating campaign finance laws related to hush money paid to adult star Stormy Daniels.
In response, the financier wrote: ‘You see, I know how dirty donald is. My guess is that non lawyers ny biz people have no idea. What it means to have your fixer flip.’

In September, Epstein investigation files have revealed that one executor of his estate was Ruemmler.
The House Oversight Committee dumped a slew of documents on Monday, including a copy of Donald Trump‘s alleged lewd birthday card to the disgraced New York financier, which the president has denied drawing.
Among the files was a copy of Epstein’s will, which was signed in January 2019, just eight months before he was found hanging in his New York prison cell while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
Ruemmler was listed as Epstein’s backup executor.
Epstein’s former personal lawyer, Darren Indyke, and former accountant, Richard Kahn, were the primary executors, who were set to be paid $250,000 for the role.
Although Epstein updated his will after he was arrested in July 2019, the document has sparked renewed interest in Ruemmler’s connection to the convicted sex offender.
In April 2023, Epstein’s private calendar was released and showed Ruemmler had dozens of meetings planned with the pedophile between 2013 and 2017, after he had served time in jail in 2008 for sex crimes involving a teenage girl.

‘I have nothing to do with the estate and have never served in any capacity relating to the estate,’ Ruemmler told The Wall Street Journal.
Her current employer, Goldman Sachs, said the new information does not impact their view of her.
‘Kathy’s legal judgment is widely respected and she has always put the interest of the firm first,’ said Goldman spokesman Tony Fratto.
Epstein’s private calendar showed Ruemmler, who worked for the law firm Latham & Watkins LLP at the time, had also been scheduled to join Epstein on a trip to Paris in 2015 and a visit to Epstein’s private island in the Caribbean in 2017, according to the documents.
They first met after he called her to ask if she would be interested in representing Mr. Gates and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, a Goldman Sachs spokesman told the Wall Street Journal in 2023.
There was a discussion between Epstein and his staff about whether Ruemmler would be uncomfortable with the presence of young women who worked as assistants at the townhouse, according to the documents.
In emails detailed in the documents, a few of the women alleged to have worked for Epstein asked if they should avoid the home while Ruemmler was there. Epstein told one woman not to be around, but told the other it would be OK.
During her meetings at the townhouse, Ruemmler didn’t express any concern about their presence, the Goldman spokesman said.
Ruemmler had more than three dozen appointments with Epstein, including lunches and dinners, according to the documents.
‘In the normal course, Epstein also invited her to meetings and social gatherings, introduced her to other business contacts and made referrals,’ the Goldman spokesman said. ‘It was the same kinds of contacts and engagements she had with other contacts and clients.’
She was scheduled to fly with Epstein to Paris and in 2017 and his island home in the U.S. Virgin Islands for the day, according to the documents.
But Ruemmler never visited his island and ‘never accepted an invitation or an opportunity to fly with Jeffrey Epstein anywhere,’ the Goldman spokesman said.
‘I regret ever knowing Jeffrey Epstein,’ Ruemmler said in 2023.
