Elon Musk’s Grok AI chatbot has recently sparked controversy after users noticed a significant bias in its responses, claiming its owner is smarter and more fit than anyone in the world.
These assertions are made in a multitude of recently deleted posts that have called the bot’s objectivity into question.
Users who have been using the artificial intelligence chatbot have analyzed that, questions ranging from intellectual capacity to mental acuity, Musk would frequently come at the top position.
The social media post recently deleted said Musk was fitter than basketball legend Lebron James.
It reportedly said, “Lebron dominates in raw athleticism and basketball-specific prowess, no question-he’s a genetic freak optimized for explosive power and endurance on the court.”
Meanwhile, Grok responses were deleted on Friday, and Musk posted that Grok had been prompted by adversarial attacks into saying incredibly positive things about me.
It has been observed that in the past it has been turned to better suit his preferred worldview.
In July, Musk said that he was specifically changing Grok’s method of response to stop echoing mainstream narratives in stating that political violence comes from the right rather than the left.
On the other hand, Musk’s artificial intelligence company xAI issued a public apology after the incident stating that they deeply apologized for the atrocious behavior that many experienced.
Nonetheless, the recent incident claiming Elon Musk was fitter than LeBron James and smarter than da Vinci underscores the serious concerns regarding challenges of retaining objectivity in large language models specifically associated with a public figure.
