New York Knicks superstar Jalen Brunson was seen leaving Madison Square Garden in a walking boot following Wednesday’s loss to the Orlando Magic.

Brunson, 29, turned his right ankle on a drive to the basket with less than two minutes remaining and the Knicks trailing the visiting Magic by 15.

Head coach Mike Brown did not have an immediate update on the All-Star guard after the 124-107 loss.

The Athletic’s James Edwards III reported seeing Brunson using crutches and a walking boot on his way out of the Garden on Wednesday.

Brunson had 31 points prior the injury as the Knicks’ five-game winning streak came to an end.

For a fan base with championship aspirations, Knicks nation was understandably upset on Wednesday night.

‘Why can’t I be happy?’ one fan asked.

Another said they were ‘praying to the gods.’

Several others conceded the Knicks were ‘cursed.’

But many, many more took issue with the first-year Knicks coach’s decision to keep Brunson in the game with his team trailing 115-100 with less than two minutes to play.

‘He was in up 15 with 2 mins left,’ one fan wrote about the two-time NBA Coach of the Year. ‘Mike browns finna get so much hate by the media man.’

Another fan joked about former Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau, who was cut loose following an Eastern Conference Finals run last season.

‘This is on thibs,’ the Knicks supporter joked, referring to Thibodeau’s reputation for overworking his players.

The Knicks happen to be deep in the backcourt this season, with Miles McBride and Jordan Clarkson both capable of running the point.

Second-year Marquette product Tyler Kolek could also see increased action for Brown.
