David and Victoria Beckham have broken their silence following their eldest son’s explosive social media attack, leaving comments on a nostalgic photograph from nearly two decades ago.
The couple responded to a post by renowned photographer Platon featuring an image from a 2006 Madrid photoshoot, which showed David with his children’s names tattooed on his back.
Victoria, 51, wrote: “Brings back great memories!” while David, 50, added: “Good memories.”
The comments mark the first time the former Spice Girl has publicly acknowledged the family rift since Brooklyn’s bombshell Instagram statement earlier this week.

Victoria is understood to be “devastated” by the accusations levelled against her by her 26-year-old son, though she has not directly addressed his claims.
The photograph that prompted the Beckhams’ response captured a touching moment during a session in Spain when David was playing for Real Madrid at the height of his global fame.
Platon recalled how Victoria arrived at the studio with Brooklyn, then seven, Romeo, aged four, and baby Cruz, with the older boys charging around in football kits, performing tricks.
The photographer wrote: “At one point, Brooklyn ran on set with his football under his arm and hugged his dad’s right leg. Then, Romeo joined his older brother.

The 57-year-old photographer, who has captured world leaders including Bill Clinton and Vladimir Putin, described witnessing the unplanned display of affection in front of 60 people as “very moving”.
Brooklyn’s lengthy Instagram statement, published earlier this week, contained a series of damning allegations against his parents.
The 26-year-old accused his mother of “hijacking” what was supposed to be his romantic first dance with wife Nicola Peltz at their April 2022 wedding.
He claimed singer Marc Anthony called him to the stage where Victoria was waiting instead of his bride.
“She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life,” Brooklyn wrote.
The aspiring chef stated he had no wish to reconcile with his family, claiming he was “standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
He accused his parents of “inauthenticity” and alleged they prioritised their public image over their relationship with him.
Brooklyn’s statement also detailed a string of other grievances against his parents surrounding the wedding.
He alleged his mother pulled out of designing Nicola’s bridal gown at the last minute, leaving his wife scrambling to find an alternative.
The 26-year-old further claimed his parents had pressured him to sign over the rights to his name in the weeks before the ceremony, describing it as an attempted bribe.
“They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated,” he wrote.

GettyBrooklyn also alleged Victoria labelled him “evil” because he and Nicola chose to seat their grandmothers at their table rather than their parents.
He claimed family members told him the night before the wedding that Nicola was “not blood” and “not family.”
Victoria is reported to be distraught following her son’s public attack, with friends of the couple telling The Sun that both she and David have been left “floored” by the accusations.
The fashion designer is also understood to be upset after memes mocking her alleged dancing went viral online.
David had previously broken his silence while attending the 56th annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
The former England captain acknowledged his children had “made mistakes” on social media.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn’s younger brothers Romeo and Cruz were photographed in Paris for fashion week, with Cruz accompanied by his girlfriend Jackie Apostel.
Fans rallied around Victoria following her comment on the nostalgic photograph, with one telling her: “You do an amazing job in all areas of your life, Victoria.”
