Chris Eubank Jr reveals he is set to become dad to twin boys.

The announcement comes just days before his rematch with Conor Benn.

Speaking to his famous father, Eubank Jr said: “I want to start that next chapter in my life. You’ve got two grandsons that are on the way.”

He adds: “I never thought about being a father for my whole life, I want to be the type of father who can and talk to me about anything. I couldn’t do that with my old man, I couldn’t.”

During his declaration, the 36-year-old paid tribute to his father, with whom he had repaired his relationship in recent months.

Chris Eubank Jr and Sr made a dramatic reconciliation when Eubank Sr unexpectedly appeared at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium moments before his son’s bout with Benn in April.

Eubank Sr reacted to the news by jumping with pure excitement after receiving it from his son.

Eubank Jr showed appreciation to his father whilst making his own family declaration.

Making the revelation on a BBC show, which will air later today, he said: “So yes many of you guessed it.

“I will soon be joining the dad gang. Only difference is I’ll be joining as a father of two!

“Twin boys!! I’m so grateful for such a blessing & I will do my absolute best to give them the happiest upbringing I possibly can.

“Just like my old man did for me.”

Eubank Jr has kept his partner’s identity hidden in a bid to preserve privacy.

Leading up to the first fight in April, the pair had little contact for four years.

Eubank Sr was highly critical of his son in the lead-up, publicly branding the fight as a “disgrace” due to weight concerns and slammed his son’s professionalism after he smashed an egg in Benn’s face at a press conference.

The pair shocked the sporting world when they arrived together at the brawl in north London.

Eubank Jr previously spoke on his relationship with his own father, where he said: “Our relationship has got a lot better than it was over the last few years.”

“We pretty much had no contact for four years, and we came together on that night as father and son.

“It was a special moment and from that we’ve been rebuilding slowly.

“We’re not perfect, we’ve still got a long way to go and a lot of things to work on as father and son. But we’re going to get there.”

Eubank Jr and Benn are set to face off for a second time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on November 15.
