A Christian influencer has shot back at a liberal reporter who accused her of degrading women and rejecting humanity as part of her right-wing political agenda.

The clash erupted after Salon journalist Amanda Marcotte wrote an article about conservative commentator Allie Beth Stuckey, claiming she started ‘MAGA’s war on empathy.’

But author and podcaster Stuckey defended her stance – claiming that liberals have long encouraged women to turn their backs on logic and focus on emotions instead.

In the article – titled ‘MAGA’s war on empathy was started by a woman’ – Marcotte asserts that Stuckey has used Christianity to paint empathy as a weakness and preach that women are lesser than men.

The journalist also alleges that Stuckey, the host of the Blaze Media-owned Relatable podcast, has ‘weaponized her gender’ to not only get women to act against their own best interests, but to spread what she describes as hateful ideas.

‘Stuckey is just one of many far-right female commentators who have realized that they can use hyper-feminine aesthetics to conceal what would immediately register as dystopian, even fascistic sentiments if they came from a man,’ Marcotte wrote.

In response to the jarring claims against her, Stuckey, who published a book called Toxic Empathy: How Progressives Exploit Christian Compassion in 2024, reacted to the article in a series of posts on her Instagram story on Monday.

‘Can you believe it?’ Stuckey wrote to her more than 878,000 followers. ‘A woman using her brain instead of being led by her emotions?’

‘We can’t have that! We need women to mindlessly celebrate abortions and open borders!’ Stuckey, a pro-lifer and Donald Trump supporter, sarcastically added.

The mother-of-three then spoke about Marcotte’s description of her in the article that sparked the internet squabble.

In the piece, Marcotte wrote that Stuckey ‘denies the scientific reality of prehistoric dinosaurs.’

Stuckey has spoken about the topic multiple times, including in a 2022 podcast episode titled I Don’t Know if Dinosaurs Were Real.

In a separate episode from last year, My ‘Relatable’ Journey & ‘Big Dinosaur’ Exposed, she explored the idea that dinosaurs may have looked different from how they are depicted

‘Well, one thing is for sure,’ Stuckey light-heartedly said in her Monday post. ‘I am never going to stop talking about dinosaurs.’

She went on to say that she made ‘one sarcastic comment’ about not knowing what the prehistoric beings truly looked like, and ‘all the right people got really triggered by that…and now it just makes me want to push the buttons.’

‘In all seriousness, though, Toxic Empathy, my book that came out last year, has been living rent-free in the minds of journalists,’ she continued.

‘It is ceaselessly written about by the left as if they are uncovering this new phenomenon that’s happening on the right.’

Stuckey said that liberals know ‘that women are naturally compassionate’ and they ‘exploit that’ for political gain.

‘They can convince us that using our feelings to support abortion and unmitigated migration and soft on crime policies,’ she said.

‘And if we take that away from them, they lose a heck of a lot of power.’

The Daily Mail has reached out to Stuckey and Marcotte for comment.
