Blaze breaks out at St James Park as firefighters rush to tackle late-night blaze

A fire has broken out at Exeter City stadium with firefighters rushing to tackle the late-night blaze.

Shocking footage showed emergency services tackling the flames at St James Park.

It is understood the inferno first started at the grounds of Exeter City FC at around 11pm although it is not know how the fire started.

Videos posted online appear to show the fire engulfing the back of the Adam Stansfield stand.

It is thought the blaze may have first started in the temporary cabins or bins behind the stand.
